Museum Hopping Around the Amsterdam Canals

New Amsterdam Travel Video- Amsterdam is a city full of museums, especially smaller ones, numbering around 50 or so. Today, Sander takes you to 3 that are in the canal ring in the city center. The Grachtenhuis (Museum of the Canals) brings to life the history of Amsterdam's canals with modern, interactive exhibits. Moored on the Prinsengracht, the Houseboat Museum is an actual, refurbished 100 year old boat that is now a houseboat that shows you what it's like to live on one. Sitting in two adjacent canal houses, Huis Marseille Museum for Photography is the city's first photo museum, specializing in striking, colorful works from world renowned artists. These museums may be small, but they certainly leave big impressions. Because of their close proximity to each other, you can make a day of it museum hopping!
