On a casual playthrough, i do a drop manip in the Gabomba Statue to get the Staff of Anubus 1st time through, since it is useless later on when Jena gets Aura Heal with 4 Djinni. If you are interested in it for your casual run, click in this comment to read in the reply section.
This is based on 1st time to the Gabomba Statue. At later times she has 4 Djinns to get Aura Heal move which helps the Manipulation a lot. This one is trial and error. At the statue room near stairs that lead to the 1st Right Hand of Gagonba Statue, save near the stairs. Reset and load, go down the stairs, walk around until you encounter something, runaway, next encounter should be a Red Demon[228 HP] and Doomsayer [107 HP], All party at Level 17 or 18, all arrows on the Red Demon. .:1st Round:. Felix: Earthquack | Jenna: Flare Wall Sheba: Ray | Piers Defends R Demon and Doomsayer attack, Not 100% manip, due to Aura not available on your first visit here. .:2nd Round:. Sheba: Djinn Blitz on Red Demon Rest: Attack the Doomsayer Red Demon dies flashing, the others down the Doomsayer. At the end you get the Staff of Anubis, good for Jenna and Sheba 1st time here, later is just for collectors. Takes many resets to get the right Psynergy set to get the drop, cause without Aura it is hard to drop always.
Golden Sun is one of my favorite games. I love this game so much that I spent several years waiting for the sequel but the sequel Golden Sun 3 disappointed me!!!! But I still love Golden Sun 1 & 2 the most forever.😁😁😁💗💗💗
