When i see what you can achieve with your budget and then see what the big boy's do daystate ,FX ,BSA ,etc do(don't do) it makes me think they don't care that much about there customers once they got their money i am always impressed when i see you workmanship with excellent skills 👍👍👍👍👍
we have done so much experimenting with shrouds / mods over the years and have come to the conclusion that it's not a one size fits all deal, each gun get's different results with different setups whats supper quiet on one gun can be not so good on another 😀
Love the lathe work! We can't have your custom accessory where I live, but the same techniques can be used to make an air gun, or a plain shroud without noise dampening function. Great work! Looks terrific.
Always enjoy your videos, you I'm sure give lots of people food for thought. Wish there was someone near me with similar skills or I had the facilities to get a small lathe. I have a few mods I'd like to do with my old brocock Concepts.
Do you use any kind mechanical carriage stop when you hit your marks (like at 3:10) or do you disengage manually. The playback speed of the videos makes it look like you are lightning fast. It would be cool to see your hands while you work the carriage and slide. You certainly know your stuff and it very educational to watch it happen.. Cheers !!
Hi again Jake! Always fascinating watching what you come up with..! Do you ever do work on Steyrs or Anschutz rifles etc? I looked through your video library on this channel, but of course that just displays what you have uploaded so I can't figure out if you think these guns aren't of need of much fettling or whether you've done it without filming them.. 👍
Hi I would like to ask you an advice regarding a aselkon mx 10. it's my first pcp airgun and after 2 months the needle valve is leaking. I would like to have a new one but no parts available and i don't want to make just a new one but a better one that last more than 2 months. Any advice on the shapes that works. Maybe a mail address to send you pictures of what i've got would make things a lot easier to explain.Thanks.
Lovely work Jake

Very nice machining! 👍 Where do you get your lathe tools? I can't seem to find any tools as narrow as the one at 2:57.
We get most of our tooling from cut well they are really good 😁
