THANK YOU so much for pointing this out!!!! It’s my BIGGEST gripe with the Acura TLX as well 🤬

    I like the split screen.

Yeah, when you say that the carplay is small, it's definitely an understatement because it is REALLY small like the clock/side screen takes up half the screen, infact i am starting to wonder if nissan/infiniti makes the screen big only to fit the clock lol.

    I heard they’re creating a software update.

I hope that too....QX60 owner here and that half screen is annoying....

Overall, not a bad car, and should be decently reliable with that transmission, but there is nothing that separates it from the competition

They have to get rid of it fast!

Infiniti is basically LAZY when it comes to vehicle infotainment systems. I own a 2018 QX60, and guess what? The story is almost the same with my vehicle too. All the important car features are stuffed into the driver’s console like they’re hiding from a zombie apocalypse 😂 From 2016 till 2020, the infotainment screen, with its fancy rotary knob control, is good only for its 360-degree cam, AC temp, radio, and clock! That’s it! It’s a totally wasted opportunity by INFINITI’s software team. They could’ve done wonders with this new gorgeous display. At least they could’ve copied a few graphics from Chinese counterparts 😅

The worst thing. I really wonder why they are not simply fixing this with a software update to make simple use of such a display size.
