    Hi, what kind of trailer will fit under the Strike King Rattlin pro jig currently using shortened Berkeley chigger craw's and have been ripping them all when sliding them into place under rattle.
    Little tooth under rattle being the culprit!!!
    Shout out from Milton,Ontario!!! 🇨🇦

    I love the Rage Craw. My favorite 3 colors are Watermelon Red, Blue Flake and Summer Craw color. They're my favorite soft plastic bait ever. Thanks for such a great lure!

    I like these informational videos as to I live in mass a D my go to lures are senkos and dingers. I use wacky rig and a 4/0 circle hook and this year my turn out has been outstanding. I'm going to give this a go next pay check! thank you sir!

    Hey man love the show.
    Question: Normally use jigs, heard some great things about the rage craw and rodent. Was hoping to get some insight on how to rig them. ie. What size hook to match different sizes of plastic. Any info would great.
    Thanks!

      Both of these Strike King Perfect Plastics (Rodent) and Rage Craw (Rage Tail) are some of my 'go-to' baits for bass; I normally use a 4/0 wide gap hook, thanks for watching

    This is one of the best instructional fishing videos I've ever seen. Well done. Tore them up on the ragecraw last weekend (accidentally caught a 15 lb cat too), but I use the weighted hooks so it falls right every time.

    Hey man, I've really just started getting into bass fishing over the past two years. I live on the Shenandoah River here in northern VA. I mainly bank/wade fish right now due to the fact that I do not own a boat of any kind.. and I was just curious of some tips and set ups you might use year round (mainly winter and early spring when water temps are still low) on locating and reeling in Large and Small Mouth Bass. any help would be great!
    Thanks!

      +Trevor Rick Hey bud!!! Glad to see that you're getting into smashin bass! In my opinion, one of the greatest locating lures from shore that i use ( I am in the same position as you are, no boat and fish from shore ) are the Strike King KVD Sexy Dawg Clear Sexy Shad , Strike King KVD Sexy Dawg Jr, Strike King KVD Splash Topwater Popper, KVD Finesse Spinnerbait Strike King. Strike King , Redeye Shad Lipless Crankbait. And don't forgret the Strike King Square Bill series including the new Strike King KVD 8.0 Magnum!!!

      I did change throughout the day, most times in clear water its summer craw, bama or green pumpkin. Watermelon red is good as well in clear water.

    So whats the advantage of weightless vs weighted? Or is it just preference? Also when you wacky rig is a longer hook better to use over a shorter one?

    Love the channel. I've got a big pond near with HEAVY HEAVY Lilly pads that surround the entire shoreline of the pond and there has to be big pigs hiding. I just can't seem to get into the Lillies. I normally use the rage craw or rodents.

    • @ExtremeAnglerTV
      @ExtremeAnglerTV  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Zach Gosnell try 'punching' those Rodents and Rage Craws thru the heavy pads; my set up for Punchin` is a St.Croix 7' 10" Heavy action rod, strong Gamma braided line, 1-1/2 oz. tungsten worm weight pegged with a bobber stop and pitched high into the air and let drop on a semi-slack line into the pads and let it 'punch' thru the heavy stuff and let settle on bottom, a lot of times the bigger bass will eat it right away or make subtle lifts and drops in the hole you created, then repeat along the shoreline or mat/pads, good luck

  • @daviddelgado323

    I use these and like everyone else senco's. I think these work so well because everyone is throwing a senco and this gives a different look - aside from being a great bait of corse. I can follow right behind someone pitching the shoreline and pull fish out like it was my job when someone just drifted past throwing a senco or worm type of plastic.
    These work pretty dam well. I don't know if this helps because I have been using it religiously the gulp craw alive spray - these plus a scent is Tittys.

    What are the advantages of having a floating weight vs having it pegged? And when should you decide to have it floating, a slower fall in the water...🤔

    • @ExtremeAnglerTV
      @ExtremeAnglerTV  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      pegged when I am fishing specific structure like weeds or pockets in weeds, loose when I am dragging over sand, gravel, stones; worm weight dictates the speed of decent in water, alter sizes to slower fall if thats what the fish want on a particular afternoon

    what is better to use on a baitcast reel, fluorocarbon or braid??

    • @karlrovey6580
      @karlrovey6580 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is not so much which is better to use on a baitcaster, it is the method that you are going to use. Are you going to be punching grass mats, throwing topwater frogs or ripping crankbaits out of grass? If so, then you want to use braid. If you are going to be throwing shallow running crankbaits (not ripping them out of the grass), throwing spooks (or similar topwater baits), throwing spinner baits, poppers (not on grass mats), or buzzbaits; use monofillament. If you are going to be pitching jigs around brush, throwing deep running crankbaits, using jerkbaits, swimbaits, or finesse styles (dropshot, shaky head, wacky-rigging, smaller jigs); use flourocarbon.
