I'm a new subscriber. Excellent review my friend!! Volvo makes niche cars in my opinion. This is one of the few brands that actually give importance to pedestrian 's safety and safety features regardless! Plus the configuration is not as complicated as the German luxury brands in my opinion.
Do you know if the 2018-2019 models come with same interior gadgets/ design like the 2020? I know some years are slightly identical. I’ve driven an S40 since HS graduation, drove and been inside an S60, a Mercedes, and a BMW and I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on a S90. I think it’s the one.

wow, I can not believe that Volvo still use that ugly gear stick on S90 R-design, even the XC40 R-design is using the new gear stick design. Why the more expensive one still use that very old gear stick design !

Yes. Pretty sure the only difference is between momentum, inscription, and r-design trims.

Thanks! The rear controls are locked by default. The driver doesn't have a lockout feature, but there is a way to override settings from the front.

That manual gear selector is used on the T5 and T6 models of S, V and XC 60/90 models. The XC40 T5 uses the same digital selector as the T8 trims.
in the future, can we get new gear selector design as a basic option ?
