      When I was 11 I had a mental age of 19 very few adults could understand why my vocabulary was better than theirs and several times if I joined a conversation before somone saw me they assumed I was much older and did I double take when they realised I was 11 by the age of 13 I was actually organising adults and advising politicians and helped run an election campaign that nearly got an mp in to parliament I can understand that people would consider 11 to be quite old

    Given the fact that I was 11 when I first started to learn about me being a trans girl, but being too scared to accept it for myself in any true way until I was 18, it is very interesting to watch this. I desperately wish I could’ve grown up in an environment where I could be free to express myself. Sadly, I wasn’t though. Living as myself at this age would’ve been my dream. I did show signs as a younger child, but I was not really allowed to publicly show them.

      A lot of people don’t seem to understand that the symptoms of this condition can become apparent from as young as 3.
      Putting your child on Puberty Blockers before Puberty hits if they display symptoms of this condition is the right thing to do. It will lessen the chances of suicide and the development of severe G/SD [Gender/Sex Dysphoria], as well as lessening the chances of developing the common comorbidities, such as Depression and Anxiety Disorders.

      A TRUTH BOMB:
      Westernized civilization, like America, is greedy enough to capitalize on the trans movement and tell you the lie that you’re born in the wrong body and that mother nature made a mistake but in reality, science and biology don’t make mistakes when you’re born a boy or a girl, and no matter how delusional and brainwashed someone gets, they are still what they were born as. If you’re a feminine man or a masculine woman so what… but we should all learn to love the body that we were born into because we’re all lucky to be alive, God dammit; people don’t have enough gratitude or appreciation for just how amazing their body is, and if you listen to the music and watch Disney movies in America, then you’re going to be given the red Kool-Aid that doesn’t lead to happiness, but instead a lie for others (doctors) to capitalize on.

    I want people to know that before someone transitions, it typically takes at least 2 years minimum (maybe longer in some states and countries) of therapy and lots of discussion with professionals and many doctors to realize if it’s the right choice. Please stop having the mindset that people just wake up and randomly decide their changing their gender.

      I feel like 11 year olds, no matter how mature they are, shouldn’t be making a big decision like that. It’s okay for them to ask to be referred to as a girl if they truly feel female but I don’t think they should alter their bodies yet (like hormones or surgery). There’s too many kids (and adults) who transition and regret it later in life. Sometimes it’s really hard for people detransition and it puts them in a horrible mental state
      I hope the girls in this video are truly happy with being female later in life. They seem like smart kids, I just really hope that don’t make an irreversible decision they’ll regret

It was initially meant as a joke about someone saying or doing something completely unexpected and out of nowhere, but in this case it makes _tons of sense_ that people would be talking about what they did at 11 given the topic of the video, and literally *_tons of people_* are commenting about it which is the _complete opposite_ of "Nobody"
      - it's such a bad joke at this point.

    Let kids express themselves however they want through clothes, activity choices, hair, ... Parents should love them unconditionally and be their security and comfort
    But it is a crime if a doctor or a parent gives them any hormones, puberty blockers or sterilizes them
    It is bad for their physical and emotional health especially at a young age where their body and brain is still developing, and could cause permanent damage, and as parents we should protect our children from any harm
    Once they become adults, they are free to choose however they wish their body to look like
    But what's most beautiful is when parents teach their kids to love themselves as they are, because a lot of things in life are NOT in our own hands, not everything that happens to us is in our control, learning acceptance of certain things as they are, brings so much love to our hearts and peace to our souls 💞
    I speak from my own struggles and experiences that I've overcome 🙏🏻

      In almost all cases transgender teens are only given puberty blocker medications, to delay puberty until they are at least 18, at which point, they can choose to take exogenous hormones or stop taking the blockers so their endogenous hormones can kick in. Taking puberty blockers gives kids a few extra years before the irreversible changes of puberty take place. For a trans child who grows up to be a trans adult, taking blockers can save a lot of stress and pain, because many changes of puberty are irreversible or require risky intervention to modify later in life.

THEY ARENT. u have to be 18 to get surgery and they don’t do anything involving hormones until the child is just starting their biological puberty. Then they give them blockers. Which r completely reversible. And then they end up going through puberty later than most kids around 14-15.

      I did not understand and i am the kind of person to always want to be supportive and accepting. I know now though. What i learned in a philosophy class in university helped me figure it out. Thinking about it using logic: At the age of 12 (Or however old as a kid) did you "finally" know who you were? Have it all figured out pertaining to "who you were meant to be"? No child knows that, transgender or not. We seem to think the same rules don't apply to transgender children and that's crazy.
      Another point: All transgender people describe this feeling of not liking a part of themselves - even hating it. They describe this DEEP dissatisfaction within themselves. Since when is it physiologically healthy to change something on the OUTSIDE and expect it to change who you are on the INSIDE. From a psychology standpoint (which is my background) that method won't work and will only lead to deeper dissatisfaction and also a sense of hopelessness on top of that. This leads me to my next and final point:
      When a person, for whatever reason, WILLINGLY decides to cut off or surgically (or horomonally) ulter a PERFECTLY HEALTHY AND FUNCTIONAL part of their body in hopes that it will make them feel better on the inside, that is no longer simply ineffective but has now become a very mentally unstable thing to do.
      People usually only consider surgically or horomonally altering their bodies as a LAST RESORT when faced with a serious illness.
      As you can see i have thought about this extensively and deeply in a caring and logical way. I DO believe these people FEEL the need to change their gender. However i believe that doing so will only further harm and confuse them. The issues that need to be addressed here are Mental and not physical.
      There are also issues with "transitioning" as people report always feeling "different" than natural born people of the gender they transitioned to. They STILL report feeling uncomfortable in their own bodies for that reason. They can also experience something called "Gender Disphoria" where they are disasociatrd from their bodies. This is classified as a mental illness.
      There is so much more i can say but basically when you get down to the root cause of it it all stems from the mentality. Therefore to treat something with a PHYSICAL treatment when the root cause is Mental does not make logical sense and will Never be effective.
      There are videos on TH-cam about "De- transitioning" where older people who have undergone transgender procedures are now in regret saying it did not help them and only made there issues worse and more confusing. I'll try to comment a link here.
      I hope that had helped you. As a professional working in the social service feild i Do Not Have any hatred towards people who feel out of place in their sex. I simply want to HELP in the most effective way possible. I hope this helped you to at least consider the possibility of what i have learned. 🌅😄 I want to help make the planet a happier and healthier place for people to live in ♥

      @@alexlg9521 Alex LG as a man that has completed my transition many years ago, I know that the majority of this is wrong. There isn't a sense of dissatisfaction after hormones and surgeries, instead I'm completely comfortable and proud of who I am. I'm no longer disgusted with my body.
      With that in mind, Gender Dysphoria is definitely a mental illness, that I agree with. And the people who rush into it quickly are more likely to detransition because they've not taken the necessary precautions to ensure that what they are doing is correct. Nowadays that's even more comman due to the suddenly hype over gender.
      But before I was even allowed to transition I was given years worth of intensive psychology help before my doctors came to the conclusion that I was transgender. Physical and chemical treatment was not my first form of treatment.

    • @DimeTree
      @DimeTree 6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      By the time puberty has run its course, the kids' bodies will be irreversibly altered. Believe it or not, most regular boys don't want to be a girl by the time they're in middle school. Personally, I only realized my situation and started to medically transition at age 17, and I wish I'd had the resources and acceptance before puberty that these kids do. If I'd known back then, and was allowed to go through the puberty of the correct gender, I wouldn't hate the body and face I have today. I'm slowly fixing the damage done to my body because of testosterone, but there's certain things I'll never be able to reverse with hormone therapy.
      I hope you change your mind on this issue, because I never want any of these children to have to go through the same pain I have. Knowing that I might never be seen as a girl in the eyes of society, and that I could potentially be murdered, or have my basic human rights taken away at any moment. The world today is not safe for trans people, and this kind of gatekeeping in the healthcare system is a massive part of the problem.

    • @panevan767
      @panevan767 6 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Standard practice is puberty blockers as they start puberty (10-12) which just delay puberty until they are ready, and hormones at 16 or older but sometimes younger depending on the case. Surgery is typically saved until they are 18+ Most credible doctors take all aspects of the case into account in helping people transition or not
