- It's so good to be home, but this is my second attempt at this upload! Arg! Had a copyright issue with a background song playing at the end with the cat clip. 🤨
So here I am again, less keen to write my little book to you! lol.
The video says it all anyway, I suppose, right?
We've been inundated with chores for 2 acreages, having been gone for a long period of time, but we did expect this. What we didn't expect to hear was that one of our docks got loose and drifted down the lake while we were away! Join us as we retrieve it and haul it back to our place, but in who's boat?!? 🤭
Game camera footage revealed!
We are working on getting our little ore car wood fired hot tub project to completion, so Steve worked on building a little road/trail to access the area where it will live. I worked on the weeds - hours of whipper snipping 🤪. Then I hurt my back part way through the week from a fall, which I share in the video.

Hope you're feeling better. I know what it was like to hurt my tailbone during a crazy bike event trying to jump ramps of all things when I was much younger. It is really great what you and Steve are doing. All the best to you both and all the pets.

Nice to see you guys back home on friendly turf. Your choice of music for the "morning lake nymph" scene was absolutely perfect. That view from your cliff cabin never ceases to fill me with wonder and joy. So beautiful....... Good ol' Clyde announcing himself to the world. He's a lucky dog to have such a great life with you. That shot of your cliff cabin from across the lake was very impressive. Gives a very good perspective of just how high up that thing is. Beauty. I broke my tail bone once playing flag football. I was miserable for weeks. I can very much empathize with you about the pain. Working like you did with that kind of pain makes me admire you all the more. You're quite a trooper.
Ya it’s a gnarly pain for sure!! Those first few days I came up with a whole new sound track of sound effects!! 😂. And those were those days I was filming trying to help Steve. It was bad, but I am not that sore anymore. Phew. Still really sore, and very limited in terms of really being productive, but I’m still able to do work/chores - just at a different pace and with a whole new set of moves. Lol 😆

Michelle and Steve are home, the furries are happy, work continues and life is back in balance again. Now Michelle, you are a nurse, you know what to do about that fall but there you are aggravating it thoroughly. At an active 76 I have my share of falls and bumps. Cold compress first to help swelling alternate later with warm compress and most of all get in the recliner! Walmart sells a hot/cold reusable compress that stays flexible to your body. Good luck anyone trying to get you to rest. Ha Ha! Video was wonderful especially peaceful scenes of you having a relaxing swim. Something good for us all. Rubs to the doggies, best to you both!
