My passenger side headlight bulb went out on my ‘14 Silverado and after I realized how much of a pain it would be to get to the bulb itself I found your video here. Thank you so much for posting this! I followed your step by step instructions and everything went perfect! I was able to replace the bulb easily because of this video. Thanks for the attention to details and even showing which way to turn the air filter box to get it out easily. Definitely recommend this video to anyone looking to replace that pain passenger side bulb. Thank you!

BS There are 2 brackets that hold the bulb in! I don't see You covering that issue. I spent an hour working on it before I figured out how to remove them!!! Thanks for Your professional work. Lol!
Hey I followed your exact steps and everything went fine but my check engine light came on. I took out and plugged back in my air filter sensor but light stayed on. Any suggestions? It only came on after I took the air box out to put in my led bulbs.
Sorry to hear about your troubles. The best option is to drive to your closest advance auto parts and have them scan the car for codes. (They will do it for free) You want to rule out anything major even considering your most likely dealing with a poor connection on the sensor you removed to replace your lights with led. Which brand did you go with? How do you like them over the stock bulbs? Keep us posted on your check engine light!
Hey so basically I found out the problem. I installed the passenger side led headlight bulb in and turned my key to the on position with the sensor unplugged, which threw the code. After driving a couple of times, it reset and was all good. I also read you can disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and the check engine light should go away if everything was re-installed properly. Thanks for the reply!
@@kaidenharrietha I just replaced my passenger side light bulb.., had the same issue.., I disconnect my battery for 7 minutes.., and the check engine light went off.., thanks for the knowledge..
Yes it is, my dad has the 2014 LTZ model (with projectors), and everything he showed here is excactly the same. The only difference is inside the headlight. GM switched over to an H11 projector, that is all.
@@Revitauto I don't know about Conkhi2009. My truck is a 2014 and I've done the light on the passenger side. Gonna also change the drivers side light as well. But I'll need to pull the battery out 1st.
Your video saved me money. I'm after installing two sets of LEDs on two different vehicles over hur. Thanks buddy. From Newfoundland.

Yea glad I watched this last time I pulled the whole damn headlight assembly out to change em smh 🤦♂️
Joshua Cunningham glad this video helped! And hey! At least you know how to replace the headlight assembly!
you don't have to remove the grill if you have small hands
You made this so much more complicated than it needed to be.
Hi Haley! Can you make a write up or a video of how you did it? I would love to share a better way to this if you have one!
Happy Motoring, Blair!
@@Revitauto just what I thought.. she has no way of doing it. Just another TH-cam genius.
Ok Haley, please show us a better way! I would love to see how less complicated it is!
That’s some really dumb engineering design if you have to remove the air box just to change a bulb
😂 bro I’m saying
i don't think , it is same with 2016 model
conkhi2009 what do you see that is different? What type of lights do you have?
my don't had cup cover but it had rubber cover, put in and pull out, there are no light buld , look like i need to change the whole head light
Did you ever get your headlight bulb issues sorted?

That bs
Which part? The process to change the bulb? All the new trucks are like that now! Crazy!
