He's not the only one. I have a mall I visit that is doing the same thing, getting rid of stores that don't "fit" what they want. Funny how THEY can break a lease any time but if HE wanted to break the lease it would cost HIM a fortune. Corporate crap at it's worst.

We need to speedily pass anti-monopoly (anti-formula) business ordinance in Durham to put this property back in the hands of local North Carolinians.
It’s time for Brookfield Property to leave Durham market. It is a monopoly because it owns more than 30% of the mall market in North Carolina.

He doesn't fit, not the merchandise. Not hard to see what the problem is here. Malls are struggling these days and their hate on this young man is quite obvious. They'd rather lose money than to see him win. No surprise here.

So malls have narratives now? I mean i can understand not wanting a liquor store but damn.....the malls in my city are getting worse, they closed one down on the south side because of gang violence and kids getting shot in the head.the one by my house has had three shootings in the last two or three years, two inside and one in the parking garage.there's nothing special in that mall besides one place where you can buy customized hats and a few other things and they won't make any known gang affiliated signs or number sets. Anyway what I'm saying is i don't think it's the stores that bring bad situations. But what do i know lol

He needs another location and let his customers know where he is at. As for the mall, black people need to boycott it and put them out of buiseness. They don't like a black man doing something positive and great. If he keeps having location after location they figure out he will be a wealthy man. Racism and discrimination at it best...
