Oh I see, so the hose has a backwards facing fitting thats blowing the lint towards you, correct?

You got it. Vac Systems International sells several attachments, but the one I used in all of these videos is the kind that blows backward. The other attachments are for other specific situations.

I sure hope that air conditioning condenser wasn't running while you were cleaning the dryer vents. They'll be calling an HVAC repair guy to unclog the coils very soon! Perhaps you should advise the customer to turn off A/C units if the dryer vent is that close to the condenser unit.

And also covering any/all AC units that might be close by, and advising them to close their windows.

can you use this on the plastic dryer vents? or will it tear?

also what if the dryer vent is over 25'? do you have an extra hose or do you clean from the inside

I have not encountered plastic dryer vents. In our area the codes require rigid steel ducts and all UL listed components. No screws, tape only. I rarely encounter ducts that have a run that’s longer than 25’. Usually there is at least one 90 degree elbow which would require the vent to be limited to 25’. If I encounter one that’s longer than 25’ I usually end up using my snap lok systems kit.

🇬🇧, 🤨 - I watched videos of US DIY dryer vent cleaners turning the dryer on - set to cold, and the dryer itself blowing the lint out

With no help? Theres no way. Something has to loosen it up. Dryers arent nearly strong enough to blow those vents clean.
