Smashing route. I rode a very similar if not the same route 18 or 19 years ago, when I was about 15. I was on an extremely cheap Halfords bike. Dad thought it’d be a great idea to take the Corrieyairack Pass from Fort Augustus to Loch Laggan. I ended up with a crack in the frame, and my wrists felt like they’d both been broken the next morning after trying to brake on the downhill section with possibly the worst v-brakes of all time… Great family fun.
I did this last week, over 3 days. Camped. Interesting how you didn’t show any footage of the two long & rough descents (Corrie & into Glen Lyon), they were fun on a loaded MTB, can’t imagine they were as pleasant on a gravel bike.
LOCH Rannoch!!!!! (and NOT LOCK either!!) If I did a ride in the Lake District and called it the Loch District and Loch Windermere, people would be slapping their foreheads the length and breadth of England. When in Rome....or Rannoch!!....... 😁😁 Otherwise, excellent stuff. The route looked amazing. I have never done gravel biking or bivouacking, but man that looks tempting. Keep it up!!
well firstly I have to say that I am sponsored by Albion so am not going to tell you its rubbish! But I have been very pleased with the shorts, they are one of the most comfortable shorts that I have used and they also have some other great items of kit such as the insulated jackets etc which are very useful on a bikepacking trip. I have to say if I wasn't sponsored I certainly would not be disappointed buying the kit.

Hey Josh, great ride. Nice to see you camped out rather than hotelled it! ATB mate. Sleeping under the stars is the way.
Sweet. What a route. Must get out and do that soon
😍 love it. …this is on my list!
Cool video, I would love to get over there someday. Just subbed.

Hi Josh. Really enjoyed the look of this one. Lucked out with the weather…! Can you tell me what clip on bars/rests you use here?
Great views. And seems like you were lucky with the weather. Where you riding a Mason ISO?
Yeah, that's his ISO with a suspension fork fitted.
Yep riding the ISO
Nice film. Planning to do it myself in few weeks on a gravel bike. Looks quite rocky in parts. What tyre width did you use and recommend?
What are the aero bars you’re riding with please?
Prime Nusa tri bars
How's the Albion gear? Worth the price tag?
