Brenda is a top-notch talent. She is a great singer and songwriter. I'm proud to have an autographed picture from her that she mailed me after I wrote to her. This is a moving interview.

This is a very touching testimony .i am a white french man and watch TH-cam often. What I read about Présente Obama and the first Lady is unbelievable. What Mrs Russel just narrated is sadly 2024 deeply existing at a large scale .

I love Brenda Russell. I first heard her when she was married to Brian in the 70s and watching them on The Music Machine in Canada.

She's such a legend, repping us Canadians. woo hoo!
"A Little Bit Of Love", a classic Big Pun and Ariana Grande sampled, I hope they paid Miss Russell her money!!

In context of Brenda Russell's life, what a tribute to 'The Supremes'.

I felt the same way in the 60's growing up. It was magical, at that moment I stopped paying attention to my racist white teachers telling me my dreams were futile .I have not looked back .I thank ny ancestors for doing what needed to be done ,so I could be free today ,Thank You God

As an English man I really don’t understand why you would treat someone differently because of there skin colour. I’m not saying England doesn’t have it’s fair share of racism. I just don’t see it or hear it. Maybe that’s just because of where I live 🤷🏻‍♂️

Interesting that she used the words "color blind." Ms Russell probably doesn't know that the "woke" do not like that term. Hopefully the woke will give auntie a pass.

State-endorsed prejudice still happens today! Look at Israel.
