Hi Fred. I will do my best to take the HO and N scale layouts with me. I have the space at the Iowa house for them and more. The house has a partially finished basement so I have this feeling there will be one if not two layouts down there at some point 😁
Another great Adventure with Bill. Ever watch the show "Pickers", this store reminds me of some of the places they go, and there's SO MUCH they don't know where to start.
Lynn I have watched that show and you are absolutely right. The great thing here is you can bargain just like on Pickers 😂😂
I'D LOVE TO MEET OTHER O-GAUGE PEOPLE IN IOWA!!! Every model railroader I know is into HO, S, or G although I have been to Caboose STOP several times.
I just bought a house in Cedar Rapids (with a train room of course), and I'm just getting settled in. I'd love to keep up to date with your progress!!!
Tell you WHS. Go to Caboose Stop hobbies on a Wednesday. Laverne and Mark will most likely be there at the club layout in the basement. Ask whoever is working in the shop and they can direct you to them. When I’m settled in to my new place in Charles City and back in Iowa from overseas every so often I think most Wednesdays I’ll be there.

@modelrailroadadventureswit6347 Ugh! I work Wednesdays until 530 in Iowa City, and then we have our weekly work session with the Hawkeye Model Railroaders until we are too tired to do any more work. My weekends are Fridays and Saturdays, so those are the only days I might be able to get there.
