I like the stability of a block built house which seems to be rare in the new house market in the valley. A well built house in an older neighborhood is where I would expect to pay a premium over the new house market. Don't buy a house near a high traffic area or the main arterial roadways. The public transit system is expanding and improving, it is safe and economical to use.

So true - they aren’t building homes like they used to. The public system is definitely improving!

I have lived in the Valley on and off since 1983 coming from Wisc. and finaly retired and returned in 2015.. Everything you said is true. I have never seen a scorpion and only 1 snake in the total of the 23 years i have lived here.. Also I can only get into a pool if the temperture of the pool is above 80 degrees. When I had my homes with pools I usually went in from May thru Sept because after that the nighttime tempertures cool off and so does the pool. LOL

    Hi Eric,
Commendable effort in taking the time to create this informative video.
We run a podcast where we interview successful Real Estate Agents that are crushing it with video. Assuming this may be relevant, would you like me to send you the link to the podcast?
