So bottom line don't move here unless you can afford 3 bed 2 bath 1300 ft for $600,000 built in 1901. Hate this housing market in Az.

So how would someone ever buy a property out here. I don't want to leave my home state. This shit is absolutely ridiculous. It feels like you literally have to save up the entire cost of a house and than some just to buy.

Everyone moving to Arizona drove up prices. And the prices are getting worse. Now the people that have been here, but still make the same AZ income are struggling to find homes. There's also waiting lists, or people bringing full cash/out bidding. Its just awful if im being honest. It really sucks.

My dad lived in Wickenburg in 1948 for 1 year of high school. My grandmother & him moved out here because their doctor thought that the dry, hot weather might be good for her rheumatoid arthritis. It didn't help, & after 1 year they moved back to New Jersey to live with my grandfather & my dad's siblings again.

These prices are still very low, Javier. That house that sold for $45,000 in 2012? That was 1965 prices in Orange County, CA. I am thinking of buying another house cash to rent out at these prices. We sold my parents 2 houses in O.C to flippers, cash in 2020. They were both dumps- the 2nd one has been bulldozed & can't wait to see it. I drive by about once per month. We sold it for $830,000 cash in December, 2020. A piece of junk, 1,400 sf.

Omg omg can you please review closing for cash offers. And previous closings.. I found that the most interesting. The house that should for 45k in 2012. This is an amazing Channel. I am researching the cost to move to AZ from FL because my partner is in AZ and wants to stay there.

What did most of these properties appraise for ? I'm under contract for a house in glendale , waiting on the appraisal . But im expected to pay 358,000 , if the appraisal comes in at 350,000. Its a va loan

Doesn’t matter! Most of them are waiving their appraisal contingency anyways so it sells for the contract price even if doesn’t appraise.

It shouldn’t be so hard. I don’t know how young people can even think about buying. Something fundamental has changed and it’s not good.
