You are still a kid at 40 years old. I enjoy your videos and look forward to seeing them. I have been struggling with health problems for 26 years. I am not complaining. Just enjoy your videos.
I have heard for years about farmers tiling their fields because of water but it wasn't really until watching these last several videos that I understood just how much of an issue this can be. It's just so weird when you contrast it to those out west dealing with constant drought. Love the education.
Happy birthday young Pup. I was just one year outta my Coast Guard Aviation enlistment the year you were born. That cake sure looked delicious. It's always a pleasure watching you operating your equipment.
Keep on keeping on excellent vidja. The trenching bucket was awesome watching it slice like a knife. Thank u sir for your time. And after u hit 40 time is like poop it really does run down hill and fast
For certain that trenching bucket looks like it cuts like butter less dirt to move pipe goes in faster happy birthday dirt perfect but most people try to take off on their birthday enjoy your day be safe God bless
Happy late Birthday i know this was filmed earlier. It is out on my birthday I'm just a little older then you. I'm 65 years young. Still working in fire service this is my 43rd year, working one more. Kept doing what you do.
Yeh! Happy you could join us in the geezer club. I'm 48 yippy! Just wait till the ANS sets in. (afternoon nap syndrome).😁👍 Here's an idea Mike maybe if you design a new HTB like an elongated triangle wide in front narrow in the back with 4 holes to break the suctionon a wedge shape (no back plate) so the dirt and mock won't stick to the inside the bucket.
Nice touch with your "fishing" out the buckets from the dumpster bed. It makes me ask, why don't they put a cam at the inside of the elbow-joint looking to the wrist? It'd also be useful for loading timber trucks and dump trucks when you're not above them.
I’ve learned a lot watching your videos. I came out of retirement and started working part time running a Bobcat mini excavator, and I get paid for doing it! Life is good. 👍 Happy birthday!🎂🎁
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas. Two great buckets depending on the situation. All you need now is to figure out how to combine them into a double ended combination bucket that you flip around to use the other end. With maybe a 140deg angle in the middle with one common reversible coupler in the middle. Still nice to see the birthday parties 🥳 Jenna certainly did a great job on those and any recognition is definitely worthy. Stay safe, wishing you and your family the best.
Dirt, I know that feeling my wife gave a surprise 80th birthday party all cater party, open bar and over 60 + old and new friends came it was a very nice day.
All the tile work you guys do ,do you ever put sch35 ends on and critter guards ? We do guards up here for certain apps not usually for a tile that has a steady flow to drain though.
Family, friends & surprises cause us to get our head on straight again, pull us out of our workaholic state of mind. That's why we're here in the first place. Your wife gave you the most perfect gift, didn't she?
Hope you had a good birthday. I remember when I turned 40, I was under my truck trying to figure out what size wrench I needed for a bolt but my eyes couldn't focus well enough for me to get a good look and the rest, as they say, has been all downhill... oh, but I'm sure you'll be just fine... 🙄😁
Farmer Cris from a little searching on the web: "The water table is the line between water saturated ground (all pore spaces between sediments filled with water) and unsaturated ground (air in pore spaces) and it roughly mirrors the topography: taller under hills, etc. I say roughly because it is not an exact mirror, and any place where the water table intersects with the Earth's surface we have surface water: " If you happen to have a spell of higher than normal rainfall, the water table can come up, seeping out at places it doesn't normally. You would tend to think that a water table would be "level', but it all depends on what type of material is below the top soil.
There used to be a spot on I74 South of Moline, Rock Island area that always had busted up concrete from freeze thaw cycles. It was almost at the top of a hill, and had been patched multiple times over the years. Some years ago, somebody in charge finally got smart. They dug up that spot and ran tile from under the roadway off into the ditch in a couple places. It's been fine ever since.
You said "this is where a tile plow would come in handy" As much tile as you lay you really should make one. That way you can benefit from the time it saves you and we can benefit from the content 😁. Oh and, even though I've seen the live birthday party and Jenna's video like a month ago, Happy birthday old man! Another great video Michael!
Sounds like your helpers had to do a little switch swap to get out of you keeping them in the field and cause you to miss your birthday party. 😁 Happy belated birthday Mike!
So far all the videos are really great so I'll always hit like before I even start watching anyway catch you later Happy Birthday and see you on the next trip
Looks great, sure liked Farmer Chris’ drawings. What was the tall, green thin structure, in the background, as you were starting the dig, and at the end...? (water storage...?) Happy 2nd 20years...! Thank you sir.
WOW…. Another birthday? Mikey, you had one just last month. I saw it on TH-cam! Keep this up and you’ll age yourself right into retirement! LOL Yep… you have to have Perfect Dirt for Dirt Perfect to use the trenching bucket. Indiana seems to have some… but I think you’d be hard pressed to find any at all here in the Ozarks! My dad called that ‘Seeping Soil’. We tried to build a pole barn over a spot like it. His plan was to store hay in it. After it failed to dry out during a whole summer…. It became our new hog barn! Adapt and conquer… that’s the farmers way!
I can’t believe that Farmer Chris makes you work on your birthday and then dumps you for a free meal 😂 But they were up to something good that paid off that whole weekend!! Love my drone 👍🇺🇸
On unloading the machine were the overhead cables as close as they looked or was it an optical illusion? If they were close that was some good driving.👌👍😊
I happened upon a short vid of a bucket that ejects sticky mud that just won't fall out of the bucket. Have you ever run into mud like that DP? What did you do if so? Is it often just a question of waIt until it dries out?
Thinking on what you said (early on) about the trenching bucket working the dirt well. Do you ever get distracted while driving, by seeing some really nice dirt DP?
Hey Mike, happy belated birthday bud🍾 it’s nice having a bucket selection to work with. That thinner one should be a seller with your name sake one it. I know you have mentioned it in the past. Was it WD that made the new ones …bucket and thumb. Maybe they could model one called dirt perfect! Haha 😂
Happy birthday my friend 🎂mine was on the 17th pretty soon they'll call you old as dirt instead of dirt perfect just kidding my friend I can't believe you got both of those buckets the first time that was cool I think your friends getting a hang of driving that tractor looks like you got that taken care of that looks good my friend I'll say it again happy birthday look what look like you had a bunch of people for sure take care and God bless👍🙏
So how many birthdays do you get each year Mike?!?! Do you have a Birthday party every so often, to get stocked back up on Pepsi?!?! I remember seeing some birthday videos of your 40th, about a month and a half to two months ago. Happy 40th Birthday again Mike!!! You are just a Party Animal!!!

That grass looks amazing. Wish I could get that in my yard
Keep on keeping on excellent vidja. The trenching bucket was awesome watching it slice like a knife. Thank u sir for your time. And after u hit 40 time is like poop it really does run down hill and fast

Thanks
The drenching bucket is great in that job. Great video Mike
Thanks
I love how you two work together. I also believe that you and MBHS can make a tile delivery system that no one can touch
What did Dirt Perfect say when he got to the field. That dirt is to soft. That dirt is to hard. Now that dirt is just right. Lol God bless
Awesome vija!! Shows how great those drain tiles work. Happy Afterbirth...Wish I was 40 again..:)
Thanks

I think they would get tour off pretty easy🤷♂️ just my 2 cents lol
I’ve learned a lot watching your videos. I came out of retirement and started working part time running a Bobcat mini excavator, and I get paid for doing it! Life is good. 👍 Happy birthday!🎂🎁

Another enjoyable video Mike thanks! Happy Birthday 🎊🎉🎂
thank you!
Perhaps a swale bucket like Andrew Camarata uses would be a more useful option here. A nice narrow trench bottom with no side cave-ins.
Great video y'all have a great one and stay safe 👍
Thanks
Great video, love watching.
Thanks

Happy birthday DP. Its a great birthday when you can celebrate it with family and friends. Hope you have many more such days.
Yes! Thank you!
Wow that 2feet bucket is a charm
Why do the springs come out of the ground at the top of the hill?

is mbts going to be around soon? could you add wings to spread the dirt at the upper third of your trencher?

Bought my show badge. Working on a place to stay🤣 . Maybe I should request the time off soon 🤣
Awesome
I'd say you need both buckets and the ability to change back and forth is a real plus saving time.
Happy Birthday Mike, My Birthday will be June 26
Happy Birthday Mike
Thanks
Great video thanks for sharing! Stay Safe Guys!
Thanks
What grade were you using? Enjoyed the video!
Bottom of the ditch
Good morning DP and the whole crew. Looking forward to a fun filled and informative video. Watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲
Why don't you use gravel and fabric to protect the pipe so it doesn't clog like a French drain?
Complete waste of of money
Could you go in detailed why? I'm new to this and I wanted to do my fields but what to do them right the first time lol
Hey Mike, happy belated birthday bud🍾 it’s nice having a bucket selection to work with. That thinner one should be a seller with your name sake one it. I know you have mentioned it in the past. Depends on the field but have a video on that a few back
