The kicks is a car best bought with FWD and that 26k price bracket and under. Go above 26k, and you get some really nice and bigger options that are better buys.
Kia and Hyundai do the same thing with the two screen layout on the cheaper models. It looks like a screen but its actually a small display and 1980s digital clock gauges
Yes 👍, if this is your new car budget, you need to start looking at used cars. You can get a used vehicle with better mileage and reliability and horsepower for the price
What is the whole point of this conversation you are compare this vehicle with a sadan. Complaining about features that is not included in this trim while comparing it to a competitor of a higher trim. Make it make sense.
The Subaru is by far the better option. It’s selling because the AWD system and safety features are much better. Only people wanting the Nissan are wanting a deal or have a lower credit score. Which isn’t a bad thing but like you mentioned, Nissan didn’t have a ton of money for developemnt. The Chevy is for folks who want a “domestic” car. I personally wouldn’t want a 3 cylinder engine.
I do not trust Nissan. Not since my Frontier was part of the mess from 2005-2010 and with each repair they treated me like I was an inflamed pimple on their butt.
you've lost my trust since you featured that guy who reviewed mitsubishi suv and said that the car being reliable would only make you keep that car longer. what an idiot.
“Kind of like a flip from a guy who didn’t get permits”, sums it up for me! 😂

This small SUV may save Nissan. I hope it does and it should sell really well.

Not a lot of people can or want to spend a lot of money on a car, especially for a person over 55 years old who doesn't need more horsepower.

It may not be for everyone but I’ll stick with my (purchased used) Mazda CX-30 over a new Nissan Kicks any day of the week thank you.

27k ? There are better cars for that price.
I’m sorry why? Mitsubishi has great reliability, not only in cars but across the whole industry
Nissan CVT. Hard pass.
Nissan Kicks is junk with a bad transmission.

isn’t that true though?
Is no one else surprised that a reputable company such as Consumer Reports is endorsing such a crappy brand vehicle?
I'm tired of SUVs. They're horrible for the environment.
