Very interesting. At the end you mentioned unfilled cans. I have a glass soda bottle, Sprite, that I bought in a six-pack at the grocery store years ago. It was empty, but sealed with the cap. All the other bottles were full. This was when they sold soda bottles in a six-pack cardboard carrier with a cardboard handle. I listed it on eBay several years ago, but it didn't sell.
I didn't see the 1966 Cott Batman soda can. It's considered impossibly rare. What are you thoughts on it? Was it available in all 50 states? I know it was available in California and Rhode Island. I'm not sure if it was available in Chicago.
Don a question for you not related to soda cans. For those of us whose items are NOT at the top of the search, what is your advice re promotion costs? I know there are many variables that go into the decision but could you provide some general guidelines? Thx much in advance, one of your fans from Boston

In the early 90s I got a 12 oz Coke can that was beveled all the way around the can, it was the strangest can I ever saw so I kept it, though I am not sure I know where it is now.
