- The purpose of this video is to compare the new Side Order overview trailer we got from Nintendo of America and Nintendo UK. As you will see in the video there are some differences in gameplay and stages along with some other small details. I do apologize in advance for the watermark, but I rather be safe than sorry.

Interesting that the uk version has japanese gameplay footage
and when agent 8 dies the floor level in the corner is a slightly different size, I can only assume uk got older footage from before the translations were ready

The U.K. version does not use colour for some reason. I may be American but it's weird that they didn't make that change. Kind of a small bummer.
At around 3:30 it seems the American side has 21 color palettes and the UK side only has 20 colour palettes even though both are on floor 20. So does this mean some hard mode stages offer two palettes as a reward for the extra challenge?

It could honestly just be a mistake too. Lots of times the footage being grabbed is done so by hacking (from the dev team) so they can get footage quick, which can result in glitches. In the UK version the dead soul from the whirling boss is a squid shape when it should be an octo shape instead.
There are floors just for vending machines and reviewers said you could walk out without buying something - maybe the US footage brought a colour chip and the UK footage didn’t?
YES! At 2:08 you can see that rigorous floors give 2 color chips!

They really made a bunch of stuff different for the UK, but forgot to spell colour right? Unbelievable.
At least they got it right that the bri'ish octoling is just generally more lazy :)
Also, youd think that nintendo would make different channels for different languages e.g. Nintendo EN, but i guess not?
Only the first game on Wii U got a specialized PAL English version. 2, despite having a PAL English release, is identical to the North American release excluding Splatfests. 3 is region free, and the English versions are the same, except you choose the Splatfest region to NTSC or PAL.

Ours came on the same day. I watched it yesterday a few hours after the Fresh Season trailer dropped.
