Warren County, TN Puppy Mill, 10 Years Later

- On March 29th, 2011, ten years ago this week, Animal Rescue Corps conducted its very first rescue operation, bringing 124 animals out of horrific conditions inside a puppy mill in Warren County, Tennessee. In this video we revisit the scene and the life-saving work by ARC volunteers; and then we visit with just a few of the lives that were saved that day. This video is an important reminder why adopting a rescued animal is so life changing for the animal and the person. Please make adoption your first and only choice. Thank you.

I'm in tears..... It takes a black, heartless soul to treat animals like that. Thank God they were rescued. RIP for the ones that suffered & died there. :-(

Thank you for all you do to save these animals. I personally could not handle seeing this. I would have a mental and emotional melt down. I would want to take all the animals in which is not possible. Prices for vet care is thru the roof ! If the vet fees were not so high I would be a pet owner once again but it would not be fair to the animal for this exact reason. $1500 bucks for teeth cleaning for a small dog is absolutely rape in my eyes. And you wonder why more people don't have pets. My heart breaks seeing these living conditions for these dogs. God Bless all of you for your dedicated hard work.

i literally saved 5animals in texas and drove them home in a very small car 36hours. I can’t say no to an animal in need. i still have one rabbit and a 10yr shepard from that trip. 2 dogs got new homes and sadly the cat had to be put down 2years after i got her due to medical problems. driving 36 hours with three dogs a cat and a rabbit in one car was rough. i kept the ones who were older or had health issues so they could live out life and just be animals.

True. Put compassion into action.I wish all animals can have a home and people who will love them.I don’t have time to volunteer. So I just donate to various charities. I wish I had a bottomless pocket.I wish some billionaire would consider being a patron saint for these animals.
inconceivable that people live with knowledge that animals they are breeding are suffering !! These living feeling beings are being tortured slowly to death. I know many people who buy dogs from breeders and I just shake my head. Try to educate when I can. Ty volunteers for going in and rescuing. I agree with the philosophy of compassion in action. We can't just sit around and weep.
you guys are amazing people, and I want to do just what you do. Even as only a 13 year old kid now, I volunteer at my local SPCA, and dream to one-day end puppy mills. My 5th grade Capstone project was on Adopt Dont Shop. I have 2 wonderful rescue dogs at home, and I understand that emotion they give you, of greatfulness. Out Jack-Russel mutt was most likely beaten before we rescued him due to how he flinches at touch and sound, and our Chiweenie has nightmares that shake her whole body in her sleep. They need us, and so do the 2.7 million dogs that are put to sleep a year due to overbreeding. That needs to end. It is not ok. You are just amazing people and everyone who runs those puppy mills should go to hell. Dogs are living souls and deserve to be treated like ones.

I wish you could give an update on how this case turned out ? What happened to the people responsible ? I'm always afraid they will start up another Mill somewhere else ? Is there followup ? Do they get the help they need ? Thank you all for helping all the animals you have !

Please some one of the government do something about this puppy Mills place it would be wonderful if there was a law that prohibited puppy Mills and there's so many animals out there that also need help and this people with the puppy Mills producing. More animals

Please come to Missouri and get these poor puppies and dogs out of the puppy meals that are many, many than any other state. There are more puppy mills in Missouri than any other state and they ship them to these other places. auction them off please come to Missouri and say the animals
I believe the lady prosecuted for this atrocity was later allowed to stop paying on her fine. The county failed on this prosecution! I adopted one of these sweet dogs and he was the most precious thing. He did not deserve what she did.
