This is the chamber music that I want to hear during lock-down. Exciting. Unexpected. Energetically performed. I'm weeping.
Unusual & beautiful combination of instruments.
Beautiful and captivating. Looking forward to hearing it again for more appreciation and understanding.
Kevin Puts is my favorite living composer-- I have met him and spoken with him many times, when he was one of a group of composers-in-residence with the Mobile (AL) Symphony Orch. I had the car radio listening to NPR when they announced that he had won the Pulitzer just minutes after it was presented, for his opera Silent Night, which I had followed his progress composing it. I had seen clips from it on the opera co.'s web site and knew it was fantastic, but I screamed when I heard that! Thanks for posting this great performance -- "Legions" is great, but my favorite piece of his is still the marimba concerto. He will go on to be really great!
Ji Hye Jung is so good! Its unbelievable!
