Dude I cruise at 38-40mph on my Nikola plus. I live in Vegas where there’s a lot of giant bus lanes with long straight aways so 40 mph is no big deal even with pretty big bumps.

Hsiang sounds good. Potentially in NYC for work in 2020 so I’ll have to hit you up (and borrow a wheel from someone 😬) looks so good riding there. So free.
Really looks like the full face helm and upper body armor is a requirement if you don't want the fun and games to possibly end up as a bad time. (Seems like you're being smart about that.) Just thinking how hard stopping risks an endo on a 2-wheeler, and that seems to have no emergency stop option other than dumping it. Looks like one has to anticipate things further ahead than a bike, so that makes the speed even more sketchy. Might also be fun as heck to take those to a velodrome. Banked turns probably lend to a more prolonged max speed with those things, and it's a bit more of a controlled environment than a street or parking lot.
The sense of speed is much greater than on a motorcycle , but in someway it is safer since it isn't capable of the kind of speed a motorcycle can easily achieve. Good idea on the velodrome, I'll have to see if I can find one around here!!
Actually the sense of speed is quite low. Without handle bars to grip on to and having to lean in to for acceleration it feels a lot slower at 40mph on my Nikola or Monster then 40mph on my scooter. This is coming from someone who regularly cruises at those speeds; obviously @hsiang will feel like it’s very fast on an EUC since he’s unaccustomed to high speeds on an EUC. And braking is not sketchy at all. Because you never really have to break. It’s much much much safer feeling going through traffic or anything on an EUC than a motorcycle, bike, scooter etc because of the small footprint and extreme maneuverability of the EUC. If someone cuts me off- no problem. I can easily swerve or just pass them on the side without even braking.
@@darrellwesh7352 then you and I have very different experience then. I have done 100mph on my scooter and have done long distance 400 miles trip where I cruise at 80mph with no problem. but 35mph on the uni scares me.
Hi, on my Nikola plus 100v 1845 it’s so easy to get 55km/h. I did like a speed test and i went down with a tilt forward... I don’t known exactly what I had.. some told me that I might lean forward to quick and or didn’t listen the 80% alarm or it pass it so quick that I only receive the cut or tilt forward immediately.. do think it could be correct? 40% battery... and trying to get the 80% alarm.. but I got visit to the floor... at high speed..
Yikes that is no good! I hope you are okay! Although I was no where near the top speed it is still a problem not knowing how fast you are going. I am going to try the wireless speedometer from Gotway next and see if that helps.
Hi Hsiang, I like your reviews, they are honest and said direct in the face, revealing anything what hides behind the curtains. I am about to buy a GW Monster, but you have reviewed the older model with one headlight. Do you have a review about the new 2020 model, double headlights, black pedals,10 led taillights? Would hel pa lot because i ma stuck at the low tourque, rough manouverability part... Thanks a lot.
Thank you! The changes to the 2020 model is purely cosmetic, and does not effect any other components so there are no changes to the ride quality or any other aspects to the wheel. This is why they are still technically “V3”. The monster is growing more on me now that I almost had it for a year; a lot of the down side can be overcome through better technique and if you are a thoughtful and cautious rider the monster actually works really well.
I have a msuper X 100v 1860w. I was having an issue when I hit a bump at higher speed it would start an aggressive vibration. I thought it might be an issue with the axle, but it turned out to be a controller fault. Maybe your wheel is having the same issue. .
I think the tire on the monster is just about perfect, it doesn’t have enough torque for off road to warrant knobbier tire but strikes an excellent balance between on and off. But I don’t have much experience with other tires so I don’t know for certain either.
How do you adapt wheels to run on NOS? Need extra stability wheel on back like 1900 bicycle. Bumps and gravel are sketchy. Sudden stops are difficult and fault point of these wheels. How far does it take to brake and stop. I get oscillation without perfect stance.
A second wheel will make it worst unless you add the frame and make the wheels the same size at which point you have a motorcycle. I think high speed ride is just not what EUC is design for, it is possible but it would require a whole different generation of motor and technologies.
Hey cool video! Are you rocking the GoPro with external wireless mic? Im trying to up my video game soon :) I've always been scared of trying am EUC but watching enough of your videos and seeing some used ones for sale in EV groups near me... I might pick one up hahaha.
Yup, I am using a gopro with the audio adapter and the Rode wireless go mike its good setup with the only downside being the low light performance. Oh and I think as long as you are careful, and wear protection, you have nothing to fear!
Great video...excellent music selection faded in here and there in your dialog 😉👌professional. This is why I watch on buddy 😎👍I work in Flushing Main Street Queens, I am swamped with electric Ridables if you have been out there to eat?
I seen lots of electric bicycle in flushing but rarely anything else and never seen any other EUCs out, despite china being the main source of the EUC I don't see much interest in the community for these.
I didn't think I had a large enough of a following for that just yet! I do hang out with the NYC unicycle collective pretty frequently and we're always up for a ride if someone comes for a visit!
Hey HSIANG, is your Monster the 84 volt or 100 volt? I am going to buy one asap but have to pick either 84v 2400 wh or 100volt with only 1860ish wh and want to make sure theres not some mod for the 100volt to be 2400 wh
@@OWGAC Thanks!! Not anymore because I see on aliexpress they have a 100 volt with 3108 watt hours :0 Jason at Ewheels said they don't feel comfortable doing that at Gotway but I don't care if its riskier to blow up, I need the 100 volt w the range lol. My dream is to do a cross country euc ride, I'll ride with you if you're ever in San Diego- we have amazing offroading area- hit me up bro and thanks for the great videos. You're the original person to show me the EUC over a year ago. When my onewheel got stolen I figured time for an EUC. Never looking back (literally, at a view on the onewheel you're either looking right at it or totally away from it, on EUC its perfectly in front of you or to the left/right but almost never behind you
I have the same oscillating issue with my 18 XL. I send it back to the vendor for repair and they changed the tire. It actually brought something but it didn't go away completely. Now that the tire gets more and more worn out the oscillating gets worse. I arranged with it.
Oh Man! I really love your videos but it seems you forgot to change the z10 Vlog intro title again :) Great work and effort! :) I swear my next EUC will be a Gotway Monster because of your videos, my friend :)
I have an MSX 100V. I can easily reach 30 within 100 yards. Wind & my size = my primary speed limiter. I reached 35 mph once. Then installed the SR244 knobby tire (20.5"). That causes it to treat me like a heavier rider (I'm 190 lbs) and resists accel more at higher speeds. The wind is non-liniear increasing pressure over 25 mph without being seated. To go over 35 I would need either a strong tail-wind, seated, and either loose weight or install a smaller tire.
@@OWGAC I'm not saying it won't. What I'm saying is that with the over-size tire and wind resistance I need to stand further forward and squeeze the wheel to get more speed out of it while fighting headwind and just haven't spent the time pushing it beyond that natural command-force-wind-threshold. I know I could though rarely choose to wear equipment since I rarely intend to ride over 30. My wheel free-spins to the alarm at 42 mph and cut-off at over 56 mph (it can get to 59 and back to 0 w/o cutoff if I do it carefully on full charge).
@Maricella Keyne I was talking about level. FWIW, I've put a 2.5-14 knobby on it now (18.75" rather than the SR244's 20.5"). And zoom 26.5 mph first time riding it ... and on snow even! Tire-size and peddle lengths effect the leverage as does headwind standing.
Cool idea doing the drag race on a pier and rolling with the punches when problems came up! SF did a category-based PEV drag race in Golden Gate Park a few months ago, but no EUC’s showed up. >.
We learned a few thing with this race, it actually worked better in the street with more maneuvering space and the u-turn was a bad idea, a loop of some sort would have been great!
i notice my monster v3 has mild tilt back before beeps, very unusual. has beeped when i hit a big bump at high speed. But i've never looked at an app. just ride. goes real good. Real stable. hardly any wobble at all. rode 2.5 hours for 40% battery loss goin fast to. sweet.
You need to be able to mount and dismount the wheel easily and a handle bar would be dangerous and may get in the way when the wheel falls over. This is not a wheel for beginner, something like a Kingsong 16x or 18XL would likely be easier to learn on.
@@OWGAC That's to bad. I really like the durability, the long range, and the speed of the monster. I was hoping to get it for emergency break down. I also want to use at night where I can wear a cape and just fly down the street with.
I ride a MSX84v.. I've hit 30+ a couple times and only once heard my 4beep alarm. Scares the shit outta me to go that fast, knowing that a cutoff awaits if u push any harder xD
Great video and it takes a strong man to admit defeat LOL. I ride the 16 X and I have only been able to get it up to 32 mph which actually is over what it projected but that was in optimal conditions of course.
Hsiang adjusting the PSI is helpful but I would be more concerned about the jerking oscillating motions. My previous Tesla was doing that and it caused a crash and even though I was able to tighten the axel bolts and stop it from happening as frequently, I couldn’t stop it completely. I ultimately sold it and moved on.
There are too little opportunities in the crazy NYC traffic to ride seated or even getting the wheel up to 35mph, I would probably had more chance to practice high speed riding if I live further out. My main problem is really that I don’t know how bad it is for the monster to oscillate, some wheel like the z10 self correct but the same shake freaks me out on the monster.
@@OWGAC heard about wheel shim issues on the Monster. Marty Becke does a video on correcting that issue. Definitely would slow me down also. what about some sunday in central park? Dont they close the park to cars?
@@Born2Ride108 Was hoping that it wouldn't be the shims since the wheel is new and its a pain to replace, but I order replacement and will try swapping them out since it is real annoying. they do close central park, but lately NYPD had been kicking PEVs out of the park, we'll see if they keep it up through the winter.. hopefully not.
By the moment my max speed with the msx 100v 1845wh is 35,4 mph and it feels really fast!! I'm February there is an event in Barcelona at the F1 circuit let's see if I can improve this maximum!! Great video as always!!
If I ever get this. I'm going to get a custom helmet that looks like a Batman cowl, and a Bat cape. I'll be riding that through traffic while the cape is flapping in that air all the time.
they range from between $1000 to $3000 with the monster on the higher end of that. In general electric unicycle will be more expensive than all other type of electric ridable since they typically carry a lot more batteries which adds to the cost but gives you excellent range.
100v Monster can do up to 70+ km/h, there are several russian riders who achieved this speed What I don't get is - how do you manage to ride you monster the same way you rode a Z10, by leaning sideways? When I try to do that, mine just wants to fall)
everyone rides differently and I don't think theres a right or wrong way to go about it, I am slowly collecting videos of various riding style here and will work on posting something about it in the future!
35 feels insanely fast on the wheel I can’t imagine how 40mph would feel, I am going to try higher PSI next and see if that will fix the high speed oscillation problem
Tishawn hit 48 in vegas in 2018 during renegade weekend.. I hit 45 and multiple times 42 I"m 120 more pounds than tishawn.. so around 300 with my gear.. very impressive wheel.. in my case I sat .. this was on my monster 100v V2 , on the new V3 i didn't push it beyond 40 MPH but I also increased the height of the seat by adding extra foam.. the V3 is such nice wheel.. just hit 5K miles mark on it this week since end of July..
Have you ever experienced the oscillation I described? Is this normal and straighten out on its own? And what PSI do you run? I tried it 5 times but each time something will cause it to shake right around 35 and I would freak out and slow down. Are 40mph peak or do you think you can sustain cruising at 40mph?
@@OWGAC I ride at 50 PSI.. heavy guy, more air.. it is more tricky but remember I ride seated.. so I distribute the pressure in 3 points instead of 2 .. the oscillation however is there.. more on the V3 than anything else.. in fact.. do this test..leave everything home.. no boom, no camera.. no back pack.. just helmet, ride around 12-15 mph on super flat surface without bumps.. and mostly ride very loosely.. you don't force the wheel to go straight .. but let the wheel kinda dictate the direction.. I presented this to the guys here about 2 months ago.. if you stand and even if you sit.. the wheel has tendency to wobble left to right like a gyro or pendulum.. sometimes I like to ride on empty roads,. I don't let the wheel to go too far left and right but I let it sort of just float.. it's interesting feeling .. of course when you ride without knowing this, you force the wheel to go straight by applying pressure and that's where you are going to feel it more.. because you are applying different pressure by your feet at different moment for different pedal.. if you ride seated.. it' sorts of get absorbed by your butt.. .. as of the loosen nuts . I have to open it every 2-3 weeks now.. apply red loctite.. I'm even thinking just to shave off that nut a bit and add one more nut so they interlock It happens only on the right side with where the mainboard is.... try to rock it back an forth and if you feel a bit slip even just a nudge, it is loose Ideal would be to true the wheel with tire balancing weights .. also deflate the tire to like 5-10 PSI .. ride on it indoor to make it perfectly true and inflate back up.. Happy Thanksgiving.. say hi to everyone from me! Panda
@@darrellwesh7352 as of Tishawn it's what he and Ernesto told me, as me I have 42 recorded few times.. GOPRO, Wheellog, and phone GPS app video is on my esk8 riders, the screenshot of 45 and 44.7 and 44.8 is on my old phone that broke during my fall at 39.. but I have shared that many times so you are a bit late to the game.. you can still find it though at EUC NYC collective Cheers
What's your rider weight! I'm getting the same wheel in the beginning of next year and I'm 138 pounds! I would love to ride at that sped of 50mph and above! I've been waiting for years to find another person on TH-cam saying they go faster than 43 mph
Zeek tv Theokoloies I’m 200 pounds with gear and backpack and hit 39mph on my 100v Monster in cold weather (40 degrees) it can do 40 no problem in summer
I also did a seat mod which you might be interested in. Makes a big difference riding seated and standing you can grip and rip with your knees. also added the Michelin City Pro road tire which is a more manueverable tire then the stock Gotway all terrain tire. I recommend it. facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2620748914630983&set=a.2016900295015851&type=3&theater
From what I've heard, the 100v Nikola is "technically" the fastest wheel, with the 100v MSX close behind, but the Monster can be pushed to speeds beyond 40mph if the rider knows what they're doing, haha
do you mean, what is the max speed the monster is capable or how fast I am able to ride? I think the monster top out between 42-45mph depending on weight and condition but I have never gotten anywhere close to that. probably 38 at the most.
I've hit 44mph on my MSX 100v but didn't get it on video. Here is 43mph on video: th-cam.com/video/RDpu_OETHJs/w-d-xo.html This is kind of insane to actually try but after hitting 44mph kind of by accident I knew I could at least go 43mph and still get away with it. I don't plan to test to find out where the actual shut off is. Might be interesting though if I had a safety harness attached to some poles off the back of a truck or something so I could actually test where exactly it really would shut off. It really depends on hill and wind though. I did not get the speed wobble but I stand with a pretty solid stance. The only speed wobbles I've experienced were only above about 35mph on really crappy Hawaiian roads that were very bumpy. Both times I somehow lived and was able to stay on the peddles until getting slowed down at which point it just stopped and returned to smooth riding. I think if my stance had been more solid at the time it probably wouldn't have happened.
I don't feel anything riding at the max speed if I wear a helmet that has a full face windshield. You know you are riding a EUC but it feels like riding a motorcycle.
The monster does feel almost like a motorcycle crusing, that's why I feel it's the best wheel to ride with traffic since you have both the speed and stability to match car and motorcycles
I sure hope they're not running at those speeds or anywhere near those speeds on walkways, imagine getting bodied by an armored up dude going 40mph...RIP
This is why we don’t even ride in the bike lane! But speed are of course up to your discretion, I am a polite rider, when I am on the side walk I don’t go over 10mph and slowdown if people look freak out by the wheel
@@OWGAC I've been riding since 1978. Took me 3 days, cause my father finally left for work. I wasn't allowed out of the basement! After a few years with Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey's blue unit and red unit, I got the understanding in my mind a way to skin this CAT. You guys have cheated yourselves to the max degree. I absolutely love your speed. Your willingness to push that natural curiosity to the very next step. But like Bruce Lee. His one inch punch is JUST a technical exercise that is totally Dependent on his focused goal. Keep in mind that the unicycle is exactly like the martial arts. To succeed you must be a practitioner. I feared the 12 o'clock position of the dang pedal! I was elated to use a technique from horseback riding. Grabbing the schwinn seat with my legs, allowing me to calm my fears. Anyway the short story is that lack of cash brings out the fundamental Foundation to become creative in your approach. Schwarzenegger's form follows function. Did not eliminate his necessity to use cheating reps before a competition to bring his muscle to peak for visual inspection by the judges. The King Charles Troup in the spring of 1981 said, "get on your toes" I am by nature a experienced procrastinator. In NYC'S Madison Square Garden 5th floor open the top mezzanine when it was possible to go all the way around before they actually brought in those show boxes for the big money. I got serious. It took a few years for the next peice of my mental puzzle. The Circus act always ends with either a bow to the audience or the chest out with arms above the head. It got me thinking about riding Broncs in the rodeo where one hand is tight in the saddle while the other one is raised above the head for balance. It freaked me out to find that it worked. In sand, at 3 & 9 o'clock, grab the seat and power your way out at your own speed. The chest out at the end of any circus acts trick, made me remember that the ballerina relies on the golden cord coming from the chest extending to the ceiling this is kept in mind to remain on point. And also that comic book heroes also stuck their chest out in flight, arms EITHER above their heads or the really cool look of both fists clenched down and behind them as they moved forward. I have also found out that this posture in the saddle while riding is the inverse of our natural tendency to hunch over forward. Shoulders back and down. Chest up and out. Now with the ball of the foot across the pedal axel, the seat height to where your leg is nearly straight. You can ride full speed at small potholes and speed bumps in the middle of the night with little fear. The body mechanics will save you as you remain totally relaxed. The wheel will drop into the hole/dip. Like a car's shock absorber that cannot SEE. But reacts because it is in the engineer for scribe position, it acts correctly. As you get to the other side of the pothole, shoulders down and back, chest up and out, you will be thrown straight up out of the saddle😲☝! To test this theory for my own self. I rode full speed at a speed bump. But I refused to keep my FULL WEIGHT in the saddle, relaxed in posture of shoulders down and back and chest up and out. I was stuck with whatever I could come up with in that particular situation. I rode home to the train in a majority of towns we played. The gravel is never smooth and the same size. I had to FORCE MYSELF TO RELAX and depending totally on the body's mechanics exactly like a blind car's shock absorber, I rode with the slim line boom box radio cassette tape recorder. Blasting whatever music I was into at the time. It was freaky to be saved by relying on holding that posture and going full speed listening to The Doors the changeling or Crystal Ship or I'm your Backdoor Man or LA Woman or the end. The arm over the head was my last weird discovery on the unicycle. I could back off curbs using the posture, but I freaked out and for some reason threw my arm up and shoulder back to regain my balance. It worked!? Why! My mind remembered the rodeo riders. I hope you try a 26 inch wheel. The thrill of having Tom Miller of Kokomo Indiana build my unicycle. At the T.U.F. the unicycle Factory, in February 2000. I never had a problem with his quality workmanship ever. Oh, one thing more. You can snap spokes with this posture. It's weird the power the body can easily generate when you are in posture. P.S. I like history. In school I saw a right of passage ceremony for Indians that live in very large Huts they built of branches. The young men were hung from thongs of leather through piercings in their chest muscles extended to a ceiling and hung there. I see this and tied Arnold Schwarzenegger's form follows function and the ballerinas golden cord from the chest breast bone to the ceiling that they had to imagine to be in the right frame of mind to maintain their posture on point. The unicycle is a thinking man machine. Y ride a expensive rig with the same potential for bodily injury. But at least I can figure out why the accident happened. Y?
see, my argument is that any platform, be it 1, 2 or 4 wheels will feel "fast" when pushed to the limit. I agree that the the amount of speed it takes to get to "fast" on a motorcycle is much much higher, but the risk for major accident or death is also much much higher. Its great for bragging right, but I sort of age out of the point where I care what other people think.
Technically MSX is, but this is all theoretical since it varies depends on weight, condition, tire pressure so the cut out limit is not the end up measure of speed capability.
@@OWGAC That's right. And Speed is not everything. I have the MSX, but after 600 km i returned to my Z10. The maneuverability and builtquality is so bad. Never I would drive with a Gotway MSX over 30mph, the next unexpected Cut off is waiting ...

MSX ftw!
Have you considered coordinating a meetup for your subscribers? It would be really cool to travel down to NY and ride with you.
I didn't think I had a large enough of a following for that just yet! I do hang out with the NYC unicycle collective pretty frequently and we're always up for a ride if someone comes for a visit!
@@OWGAC If I come from germany some day, is there a wheel i can borrow?
Wow!!! Wish I was there. Nice video as usual Hsiang. Where is part 2??? I know that’s not all, plus it’s been a awhile since you put up a video
This one took a bit longer than before, I still need to be better at making my videos quicker! =D
Hey HSIANG, is your Monster the 84 volt or 100 volt? I am going to buy one asap but have to pick either 84v 2400 wh or 100volt with only 1860ish wh and want to make sure theres not some mod for the 100volt to be 2400 wh
My is 100v, it is specially moded for extended range. Are you buying from ewheel?
Never looking back (literally, at a view on the onewheel you're either looking right at it or totally away from it, on EUC its perfectly in front of you or to the left/right but almost never behind you
@Maricella Keyne Can you elaborate? There is a youtuber selling them and its on aliexpress not ebay
Someone knows what’s the model of the armor/jacket he is using? Thanks in advance.
It's a dianese citiguard, there's a link to it in my video description
Hsiang Thanks. But it looks very different 😕
Thank you! but I haven’t given up on the z10 just yet!! I promise it bring it back once it is ready!! =D
@@OWGAC You shared such wonderful videos with the Z10. She was one hell of a ride indeed 😊
You can get more stability at high speed by sitting down. I hit 39.9mph on my Monster on a regular basis. 🤠👍
I need a bit more practice with seated riding, partly since I do it so rarely, the traffic here is just too crazy to be able to ride seated I think.
Depending on your battery size and the voltage sag msx 100v should have no poblem hitting 40mph, I think Vinny got his 2200wh msx up to 45
@@OWGAC I'm not saying it won't.
What gear are you wearing?
Check out the video description for a list.
Cali got nothing in NYC riders 😎😎😉
evX I really hope one day we can do an east vs. west race.
Kai Sosceles I’m sure EVWHERE can set that up for the summer time.
Any tips on getting wheels out there?
Top Monster speed is achieved by sitting down, which can make it feel even scarier!
i notice my monster v3 has mild tilt back before beeps, very unusual. has beeped when i hit a big bump at high speed. But i've never looked at an app. just ride. goes real good. Real stable. hardly any wobble at all. rode 2.5 hours for 40% battery loss goin fast to. sweet.
I want to get a that brand the monster, but I don't know if I can ride it with my poor back that is. Does this Monster comes with a handle bar?
You need to be able to mount and dismount the wheel easily and a handle bar would be dangerous and may get in the way when the wheel falls over. This is not a wheel for beginner, something like a Kingsong 16x or 18XL would likely be easier to learn on.
@@OWGAC That's to bad. I really like the durability, the long range, and the speed of the monster. I was hoping to get it for emergency break down. I also want to use at night where I can wear a cape and just fly down the street with.
I love everything about your videos. Your a awesome dude keep it up
Hey Hsiang, just a question what shin pads are you using?
I ride a MSX84v.. I've hit 30+ a couple times and only once heard my 4beep alarm. Scares the shit outta me to go that fast, knowing that a cutoff awaits if u push any harder xD
Damn, hope you are fully protected, there's a few guys here that ride their wheel to 4 or 5 beeps, crazy sketchy!!
Great video and it takes a strong man to admit defeat LOL. I ride the 16 X and I have only been able to get it up to 32 mph which actually is over what it projected but that was in optimal conditions of course.
Defeat but only for now! I am going to up my psi and see if that helps!
Wow man that's crazy speed on a uni,
What safety gear are you wearing i.e.
Jacket knee pads..????
Hi Whats the name of the Mc jacket thanks :)
It's an old Dainese jacket, discontinued. But their new jacket is prob just as nice
Rode my first monster, it's an amazing wheel. would like to get one! Still prefer nikola for all around riding. Really enjoy your content.🙏
Thank you! Its an interesting wheel and I am working on a full on review next week!!
try riding your monster fast seated! Less wind drag and you can lean harder. I ride 35+ no prob seated.
I had no feel for how fast the unicycles were going because you showed the race in alternating slow and fast motion.
speed for these type of race probably aren't that high, having to weave through the cones means that they had to keep it slow, like maybe 30-35mph?
I need to bay it so how can i get it m in Tanzania......
I bet you can go to an European source, I spoke to Afeez from erodes.co.uk and he said he had shipped his wheel around the world.
40.8mph max on my msx 84v.
I think with a bit more practice and maybe higher PSI I could had gone closer to 40mph, the 100v is definitely capable of more!
Was that an onyx in the background?
Yeah, we have 2 onyx rider here I think, maybe more
I love the vid man! How often do you guys get together for group rides??
4:32 whose fault was it?
I think two Uni rider collided at the light, probably brake too quickly.
By the moment my max speed with the msx 100v 1845wh is 35,4 mph and it feels really fast!! I'm February there is an event in Barcelona at the F1 circuit let's see if I can improve this maximum!! Great video as always!!
Great job- gotta have one!
Your accent is so satisfying. Maybe it’s just cause I’m from the sticks 🤣
I am shocked! LOL my bad accent? =)
@@OWGAC no it’s not bad at all! I like it lol

Very nice!!
If I ever get this. I'm going to get a custom helmet that looks like a Batman cowl, and a Bat cape. I'll be riding that through traffic while the cape is flapping in that air all the time.
Great video .
Thank you!!
What is the price of such a contraption?
they range from between $1000 to $3000 with the monster on the higher end of that. In general electric unicycle will be more expensive than all other type of electric ridable since they typically carry a lot more batteries which adds to the cost but gives you excellent range.
Missed the race, but it was like I was there at then end there. Loved the play by play.
Damn!! U wasted 11:30 of my time. Thank you!! It was fun watching.
100v Monster can do up to 70+ km/h, there are several russian riders who achieved this speed
What I don't get is - how do you manage to ride you monster the same way you rode a Z10, by leaning sideways? When I try to do that, mine just wants to fall)
everyone rides differently and I don't think theres a right or wrong way to go about it, I am slowly collecting videos of various riding style here and will work on posting something about it in the future!
challenge accepted! i will make my monster go 40mph
Go for it! Let me know if you experience any shake like I do!
@@OWGAC did you fix you axil issue? also what mode you were?
I think the sitting position is more stable. With the seat, of course.
When I get this wheel I can't wait to push this wheel pass 43 mph
I weight 138 lb so I believe I can achieve greater speeds.
Panda
Archee Booking Agent lol he didn’t hit 48mph (he said 45) So I highly doubt 300 pounds hit 45. Where are the screenshots or evidence of any of this?
@@darrellwesh7352 as of Tishawn it's what he and Ernesto told me, as me I have 42 recorded few times.. very subjective of course; there are many riders here that wants even more speed!!
I hit 61.4 mph / 38.15 mph on Monster V3 100V.
I need to get some gear..
What's your rider weight! I'm getting the same wheel in the beginning of next year and I'm 138 pounds! I would love to ride at that sped of 50mph and above!
I've been waiting for years to find another person on TH-cam saying they go faster than 43 mph
It's a typo, he meant to say 61.4 kilometers per hour. Still, 38 miles per hour is pretty quick.
Have you at all experienced the shake I got? And what PSI are you running?
Zeek tv Theokoloies I’m 200 pounds with gear and backpack and hit 39mph on my 100v Monster in cold weather (40 degrees) it can do 40 no problem in summer
Yes, sorry that was a typo 61.4km/h
My weight is 225 lbs.
I'm working on dropping some weight to get more speed..
I also did a seat mod which you might be interested in. Makes a big difference riding seated and standing you can grip and rip with your knees. also added the Michelin City Pro road tire which is a more manueverable tire then the stock Gotway all terrain tire. I recommend it.

From what I've heard, the 100v Nikola is "technically" the fastest wheel, with the 100v MSX close behind, but the Monster can be pushed to speeds beyond 40mph if the rider knows what they're doing, haha
where is the point of the max speed!?
do you mean, what is the max speed the monster is capable or how fast I am able to ride?
I think if my stance had been more solid at the time it probably wouldn't have happened.
what's EVX doing here xD?
LOL that guy shows up when you least expected !
Awesome
And yet we have noobs that show up asking for 40+ mph for their first wheel for commuting purposes. They have no idea what they're asking for ...
Screw that lol.....
xorbe2 I was a noob who wanted a wheel faster then 31mph n now I cruise at 40 and would like a 55mph wheel
Does not matter... distance matters...
Couldn't set up a place worse than the pier...
Why is that? It was nice and open and the road surface is actually very good!
👍
Formula E top speed 174 mph. Indycar top speed 240 mph.
those moto GP street race are crazy too! 200mph and not even on a dedicated track!
You should put the goggles on the BACK of your helmet if you are not using it. Check this video out: th-cam.com/video/LZyamNeIuK8/w-d-xo.html

The King Charles Troup in the spring of 1981 said, "get on your toes"
I am by nature a experienced procrastinator.
Y?
I’m out
You want to really appreciate speed?....ride a 1200cc superbike. THAT is speed.
see, my argument is that any platform, be it 1, 2 or 4 wheels will feel "fast" when pushed to the limit. I agree that the the amount of speed it takes to get to "fast" on a motorcycle is much much higher, but the risk for major accident or death is also much much higher. Its great for bragging right, but I sort of age out of the point where I care what other people think.
It is NOT the fastest EUC !!!
