- ....but, AT the time, they were AWASH in critical praise & sales, sales, SALES; The Album had SEVEN Classics ("Lay All Your Love On Me" title track, "The Winner Takes It All", "One Of Us" (covered by Cher), "On&On&On", "Our Last Summer" & "Happy New Year"...), So what were the Girls to DO!?
- ...they stuck around for One more Album ("The Visitors" from 1981), and broke up....But as we all know, they grew in Popularity over the decades, and are One of the most successful Bands in the UNIVERSE......It's that "Super Trouper", I tell ya....... (5:45)

was the nine and last single #1 to ABBA in UK (and it was the #1 at the day than John Lennon was murder)
It's the opening track in Their seventh album "Super Trouper" ,
that was #1 too in UK and several countries of all continents
This album included the most heartbroken song
"The winner takes it all" ,
it shows how versatily ABBA is
"Super Trouper" is the same year, and the following single,
than "The winner takes it all"
and both was #1 in UK specialy
Two songs different in style and lyrics and lead singer,
and worldwide hit too
in "Súper Trouper" you can hear clear the brunette Frida amazing as a lead singer,
and the blonde Agnetha fantastic in second voice,
and a beautiful melody with power and catchy chorus

Yah! Glad you loved this live performance of Super Trouper. 🔟🔟🔟 Yup, the vocals are fire. 🔥 It's almost exactly like the album version, but Frida adds a few little inflections to the end of some of the lines and it just shows how strong she is vocally. The boys add some background as well, which adds a bit of depth beyond what Agnetha, Frida and the female background singers are doing. Not all of their songs work well live because of the complexity of the arrangements, but I think this one sounds really close to the original. I can't recall a sample of this song being used. ABBA is very resistant to anyone using their music. Madonna had to practically beg to get them to agree to use Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie for Hung Up. 🪩
Glad to help set up Baby's Em's musical education. Between you and all of the Empressionists, she's going to have all of rock history in her memory by age 3. 🤣
