- Hello friends, in this video i'll be making a self-centering mortising jig for mortise and tenon joints. This mortising jig very cheap, simple and useful. Hope you like this video. This jig made for makita rt0700c and makita drt50 model routers.

Brilliant jig. Amazingly accurate results from what traditionally is a wobbly router technique. Well done.

@@amadoarmado4074 Es para Centrar el router en tu trabajo. Ya que alla venden tanto las "galletas" los "tarugos" y las "espigas" en medidas preestablecidas.

So: after a year period, did you make it? If you did, how much is the misalignment?

@@markgoode4109 I mixed up this jig with the other for dowels from the same author which is very troublesome for alignment.
This one has been fine for me as well.

Looks good. I have a base plate with pegs that works, but I think yours would do more. I darn sure can't do ends like that.
