I don't want to spoil MK11 Aftermath if you haven't played/watched the story, but god damn. Liu Kang just straight up shits all over Kung Lao in the final scene of the story. Kung Lao is a whiny ass bitch so I loved it.

One more thing: Klassic Liu Kang is an absolute powerhouse. He attacks really quickly and his basic attacks and combo enders have many hits, which means that they generate a lot of power. You can get to sp2 within just a few seconds, even with no power gen gear. Also, his headband equipment piece gives him unblockable chance and power generation boost. This coupled with his speed and amount of hits means that with even 25% unblockable chance you can reliably break their block and get that OP combo ender on basically every chain. I play matches with him a lot and if you play well, you can reliably beat every faction wars match and even most Tower Bosses without taking any damage at all.
You should add a new evaluation to special attacks. Can they avoid tag-in attacks? I love Treacherous Tanya because her SP2 avoids everything and launches you to the other side of the screen. It puts you so far away that if the AI has 3 bars it might use its xray from that far and if it's not a ranged xray it will whiff if you hold block to keep yourself from moving. It's a very powerful mechanic that should be evaluated in the matrix. Heavy Weapons Jax also has an SP2 that has tons of i-frames after it that makes you immune to tag-ins. Both of these characters are also immune to Kabal's tag-in fatal blow if you trigger it. It fails to trigger since you don't get hit with the first hit before the cinematic begins.

The thing I like about Klassic Liu Kang is that he regenerates power after using his special 1 because gets set on fire, and the fire doesn't drain his power, but it increases it instead.

If you are someone who doesn't have maxed out diamond characters then MK11 Scorpion is gonna be your best friend tho. I used him for pretty much every fatal BD tower fight 180+ when i have him only at fusion 1 + no tower gear. Even if the battle modifier reduces the dmg of netherrealm characters and even when dot effects are disabled. He pretty much still wins 1v3.

Also try to complete shao kahn tower so you can get talent points. Mand has videos on them. Do 1 hr quest in the day and 8 hr in the night so you get souls and save them up to buy CHALLENGE character packs. Also use teams that help each other out. Preferably ones with dots. Damage over time like bleed, fire & poison.
Bro for subjective attitude, you have " personal pionts" so 10 additional points for his passive are just to make him character with the most points.

He needs a re-review so people can see why he’s number one. The only thing that has changed is his SP2 but still, he’s a beast.
Just started playing about 2 weeks ago. Got MK 11 Skorpion and Klassic Lui Kang in free gift packs. Skorpion is F0 level 40 Lui is F0 level 32. Im at battle 81 Edenian tower and battle 21 elder tower. They’re both really good!

And I purchased 5 of those discount diamond Pack's. I've got Liu Kang and this thunder guy in diamond and the gold character girl with the soccer outfit. First I was sceptical if I should spend my Koins for those Pack's because the chance to get a diamond character was only 2% or something like that.

Edit: the name of the thunder guy is Raiden i like him more than Liu Kang. It's easier to play with him as a beginner. Maybe I get used to the Liu Kang if I get better in MK mobile

Classic lu kang has a gap and one of his attack strings which makes him Vulnerable and easy to counter attack

@@maxrodger1016 Yes I have had his card for about 3 years and every time I fight against him I could easily counter one of his strings ( the attack string where he jump kicks into the mini bicycle kick) which make him easy for me do defeat him. That's said he still is a great character

You can see Jason bleeding and healing in the same time. Whatever, it's wierd. If he would had used regen while bleeding, my bleeding would have disappeared.
Any dot can stop regeneration now, but only if it's applied AFTER the regeneration buff.

mk11 scorpion is a very good supporter you're saying that out of mk11 team his only support is putting all opponents on fire for 9 seconds at the start of the match wich is not true every time when he tags in all opponents are in fire if you don't believe me go and check it by yourself
This is active support. By the same logic klassic Raiden is supporting by his tagging in attack. I talk about passive support. ;) When you don't use the character. Scorpion has none except his fire in the beginning of the match. Otherwise you have to perma tag him in and out. You don't have to tag klk even once to support your team
In favor of MK11 Scorpion.....99.5% of the time i face max out Klassic Liu Kang in faction wars my starter Scorpion beats the hell out of him. So for me Liu Kang is the best overall character but in a one on one match Scorpion is the better fighter. Hails & ✌🏼💯
So, the real score of Klassic Liu Kang is 83 points. Slightly over Konq. Shao Kahn, but under Mk11 Kabal (a gold card lol).
95 - 10 (from his overrated passive) -2 (from way too many subjective points, i mean, wtf mand, this was supposed to be an OBJECTIVE review) = 83. Voila!
I can even say he didn't deserved 5 points for his sp2 buff, because in order to perform the dragon form special 2, you have to be on fire, so you have to use your sp1 which is not that good. So his real score should be between 81 and 83.
I understand that you don't like him . I am ok with that. And come on? Overrated passive? Who is biased here? ;) Btw it was never intended to be completely objective but as objective as possible. And I objectively think that klk passive is the best By far and it objectively deserves more than 20. Way more.
@@MANDMK He is probably the best character in the game, i agree with this statement, but according to your matrix, he's not. I like him, even though i think he's kind of squishy, it always seemed easy to beat him (using basic gold characters), but i know it's different when you use him. Whatever, "overrated" means that you rated his passive with 30 points when the maximum allowed was 20. This is what i meant when i wrote "overrated". It's the first time when you do this thing. Don't you think that CoS Liu Kang also deserve 30 points? Or, at least more than 20. Or many other characters. And 5/3 subjective points is definitely a proof that this review is biased. I know he's probably the best and he doesn't deserve 81-83 points which it should have taken if you had respected the matrix as you have done so far, but if this is the matrix, respect it until the end and make another video with a subjective tier list.
To answer your question. No , I don't think that cos lk deserves 30. Not at all. And this is where we disagree. For me it will be straight unfair to give klk 20. this is the one character who in my eyes stands out. The next best passive for me sf scorp got 22. Once again , I did similar things with other characters for other sections.

And it's normal for every other characters who has more buffs/debuffs on a single special attack, but to give 5/3 subjective points? For what?

I don't understand exactly what happened. It's hard to find a healer in enemy team. It looks like bleed doesn't stop regen. But bleed stops. I assume because jason was 1hp. I will try again later.
Edit: Check 1:28. I applied bleed, but it didn't worked. Jason had regeneration. It's wierd, it was supposed to work vice versa.

I know that he is one of the best, if not the best character in the game but to give him 12 extra points just to win over black dragon kabal by 4 points mean 2 things:
1-He is just not the best character in the game by himself.
2-Your scoring sheet is extremely flawed.
Anyways, I doubt a scoring sheet could be perfect, but giving him 10 extra points for his passive is just overkill.
Still waiting for Fire God Liu Kang to get put in the game. lol
