I think, like thunder god raiden, klassic raiden's passive takes 40% of base health. At 10:47, the liu kang had a military vest, so the raiden didn't do 40%. But at 11:47, liu kang has no health boosting equipment and raiden DID do 40%.
The best videos of your channel are these reviews. You should do more of these. I really want to see your reviews on the DotD characters. And it would be great if you reviewed teams as well.
@mand he was also nerfed in another way since 2018; when he tags in the enemy was always disabled for at least 1 second; now they can block after you tag in :/ and i guess the enemies resist the 40% health damage because of the Hawk Stance talent ( + equipments that resist to debuffs)
One thing on Klassic Raiden - if you are facing him and know he is going to tag in next then use SP1 / SP2 of a character with s to kill the previous character. Like Injustice Raiden SP1 animation gets many s and they cancel out Klassic Raiden's tag in attack and power drain. He tags in and does nothing. :-)

Why do people hate Kold War Scorpion? He is a beast in the kold war team. He has frost shield at start and gets shield on SP2. Also immune to fire. He hardly takes damage. Plus with the scorpion gear and SK helmet his SP2 is almost always crit and does 90K on first hit and around 36k on second hit.
well i examined this case when i saw your video 2 years ago, Raiden's passiv used to work perfectly fine and works now too, the reason why raiden may not remove 40% health could be first: drahmins mask, as and second is talant tree which says u will get less damage from basic attacks, if guy does not wear drahmin's mask than he is using basic talant, and here is how it works, in this case liukang wears drahmins mask, his max health multiply by 0.4 and here is the damage he should suffer, but now this gamage will be reduced by drahmins mask( i don't remember how much drahmins mask take) and after u subtract that damage reduction u will get exactly the damage that raiden removed from liukang

I was looking back on tour old videos and some characters seemed to have gotten scammed for example klassic Mileena only got like 5 points out of 6 for attack even tho she was number one and still is I think but went for everything so her total score was significantly lower than it should have been and that’s just an example of multiple I think this could change the rank completely maybe you already addressed this an I’m wrong so correct me if I am wrong
Number one among the gold cards. Her attack is way lower than the highest attack in mk mobile. It is not unfair. This is how the matrix works. You get that many points based on the distance between the best score and the current character score 👌
I think he’s overrated. Useless against bosses, his tag attack misses half the time and is only really useful for the first time, and any power he drains from tagging in he gives the opponent from his sp2

Klassic raiden is a huge counter to terminator because he can almost wipe half his health. Great video

Special 2 had 11 hits before Liu Kang was even on the ground. Guess you could try it on tower bosses to count the exact number.

Number one among the gold cards. Her attack is way lower than the highest attack in mk mobile. It is not unfair. This is how the matrix works. You get that many points based on the distance between the best score and the current character score 👌
