I could see Malos having a bitter, reflective moment in this fight, where he asks something rhetorical like "Do you actually WANT to kill?"
His desire for destruction isn't truly his, it's something he inherited from Amalthus, his driver. So it would be cool for this to influence how he acts toward someone of a similar destructive attitude.
Sins of Liberty is one of my favourite Brandon Yates instrumental tracks. The lyrics just made it better.

@@luisbalbuena6563 Late response but I have no idea where Tsukuyomi scales but Malos can reasonably scale to characters like the architect who also can scale to Shulk. I don’t think FF tends to scale that high and at a very brief glance it seems as though Malos is a far greater threat when at full power so I would bet money on Malos winning.

I already loved severed moonlight but this… this vocal track is near divine. You can really just feel the emotion and drive in this song similar to will of the drill or waking the demon. props to you and LadyIgiko this is just all around amazing

@@sebastianguerrero6617 as strong as FFXIV primals are it's hard to tell how they are relative to the warrior of light by the time of fighting Tsukiyomi the Warrior of light had fought the cloud of darkness who is around Multiversal + so its safe to say Tsukiyomi scales to her and by extension the warrior of light id have to give it to Tsukiyomi
@@DeusX121 Late response but Malos actually scales higher than Multi+. He scales above the Architect who is already low complex. He also scales to Shulk via being the same as the Monado (Malos’s blade is literally a Monado) and could destroy the architect which is a similar feat to Shulk defeating Zanza. Someone who held two Monados. Monados being gods of creation in and of themselves. Given these facts, Malos has a better chance of winning imo especially if we look at there directly measurable feats and there threat to there worlds.

A vocal version of one of my favorite commissioned songs ? Now we're talking !
One thing to note immediately about it is just how different this version sounds from the original. The vocals completely change the overall song. And that's not for the worst at all. It makes both versions have their own identity with none being strictly better than the other but still being amazing songs anyway.
The vocals themselves also have a very original take that wasn't heard in other songs with vocals in that they're also actively used with the instrumental to make the melody and that in an amazingly done way. The lyrics already perfectly fit the instrumental but using the vocals to support the instrumental itself via "chanting" is a great thing that once again supports the uniqueness of the song.
I know I said both versions were about equivalent but I'd be lying if I said this vocal version didn't further my liking of the songs even more. Absolutely wonderful work with this to both Brandon and the vocalist.

I'm not sure how powerful Malos is but Tsukuyomi is a primal. And she has a DPS check that equates to actually protecting the person within from the shades of her past abusers. And I know malos would not complete that DPS check because he wouldn't know that is Tsukuyomi gathering power. I don't know for sure who'd win but I'm leaning towards Tsukuyomi.
You could potentially scale Malos to Pyra, Mythra, and possibly Pnuema. Or theoretically Jin or Master Driver Rex. But i could be wrong if that's not enough scaling for him
@@Novamancer it’s more of a toss up than you think, Malos is the pure embodiment of destruction so said DPS check wouldn’t be an issue for him, and considering all those that he can scale too not to mention having Ophion at his disposal as well as Artifice Aion which has its own DPS check then the battle is a lot more 50/50 than you realize. Not to mention the similarities between the two as well overall
Makos would win. He can scale to to the top tiers of Xenoblade 2 who draw from the same power Shulk uses in Xenoblade 1. So Malos would most likely win

What weapons and powers do they both have?
I want to write a scenario for this track, because this one is beautiful, but I know nothing about either character or franchise
Malos wields swords, and in the final battle, controls a giant ass mech named Artifice Aion. No clue on Tsukuyomi though
Don't know anything about Tsukuyomi but I know plenty about Malos
Malos throughout Xenoblade 2 weidls muktiple weaoons in a weakened state he resorted to using a Blade named Sever (A Blade being a creature born from a crystal that bonds to a Wielder called a Driver, and they're able to create a Weapon from their Core)
However part way into the Plot, Sever is killed off and Malos regains his Power. Malos is an Aegis. A Legendary world ending Blade. His Blade Weapon is a Monado. A Weapon able to control the flow of Ether(Basically Life energy). Malos' Monado can Erase things on a Molecular Level.
Malos plans to burn the World. As he is Driven by the Despair of his driver, a Man who hates the World and everything in it.
