Jim Beam Black is a decent pour for low ABV. I have never been a fan of the EW bib. FINALLY found a Early Times Bib on the shelf here in FL! Have not opened it yet, but looking forward to it
I have only had the JD, JBB, OF100, BT, and WT101 I agree on the OF100 and BT but not on the JD. I found WT101 to be just OK and have not bought it again but not saying I will not. I like JBB but usually get the JBDO instead.
I adore OGD bonded as a mixer but yeah it's not one I drink neat. I have a Benchmark Top Floor that's really subpar neat so I'm just mixing it with coke lol, definitely fits the $16 I paid for it but won't be buying again. Kinda scared me away from the rest of the Benchmark series because that one was praised so much. Buffalo Trace is miles better.
The only Benchmark I'll re-buy is the bonded. To me it's a cheaper, slightly inferior replacement for Jack Bonded if one is looking for what that offers. So I do like it neat and it's a great mixer. I recently used it in something that's similar to a Mai Tai, substituting that whiskey for rum, was very good.
It was enjoyable watching the interaction between you two, but kinda confusing to follow. Eleven bottles might be slightly too many. ? Who was your favorite?
Sorry it felt that way. We started using the buy again instead of always ranking since sometimes preference can change. There’s been times we’ve liked all 5 in a blind for different reasons, making it especially hard to rank. Thank you for the kind words and yes 11 was to many😂.
@@Beyondwhiskeyrow I'm going to disagree, I appreciate you blinding so many, that makes it tougher to guess what is what, although you definitely nailed that Buffalo Trace. I think larger blinds are more likely to be surprises with preference, and this was a good matchup.
True. Things we expected to hear. Filming was well over an hour, with water and truly only taking two sips from each. These were lower proof so honesty it wasn’t bad at all. Cant explain the results when they’re blind and is to why we didn’t rank them. Not one of them was to be judged one over the other but preferred as individually. Thank you for watching.
We didn’t rank bottles against each other. These were individually blinded to see if we wanted to rebuy them. WT101 made it as a buy again. David is a fan and me not so much. It was spicy and I prefer sweeter

Interesting results. OGD 100 is one of my favorites! Beats out WT 101 and OF 100 for me every time.
That OF 100 bottle looks like mine, always empty. My best value for the money! Nice video.
