T6i was a pretty interesting step ahead, Canon moved away from a proven sensor (not that much away since it was reused on various lower tier DSLRs up until T100) and mostly they moved away from that 9 point AF (which was a bit dated then and it is clearly an obsolete feature if compared to current AF) to a 19 point which was on the way to current designs.
Battery was a little bit improved, but not that much of a radical change... There were extra-life LP8 batterys avaiable that worked OK, and even in their regular capacity form it is such a widely used battery that replacements are pretty common... so i can't call that an upgrade but an update.
T6i was more than an incremental improvement (like T4i and T5i were from T3i) nevertheless it lacked dual picture AF for video, so at the end of the day it is not that compelling to move away from an older camera (let's say a T3i) to it, instead of saving al little extra to get a newer camera like T7i or 77D. Not to mention how much better are 90D and T8i

No regrets! The 700D is a great camera and the extra functions aren't necessarily worth the current price difference.
CassyEmery Same here, just bought a T5i w/ bag, memory card and photo printer for $399. Definitely not worth the extra for the T6i.

On the t6i the reason they added the display button is so you can turn off the screen , and save battery life.
Well there is almost every time the need to shoot in the largest possible photo size. RAW images contain just way more data for editing your pictures and more megapixel in the sensor can also extract more sharpens out of a given lens.

Which camera best canon 700d r 750d
I want to basically buy the canon for filming, is it a huge difference between the 700d and 750d in filming to buy the more expensive 750d or is the 700d enough?

750D has a bit better auto focus system during video mode and is better with high ISO.
If the price difference is smaller than 100$ I would go with the 750D, otherwise 700D should be totally fine.

I never worked much with Nikons so hard for me to say but yes, Canons are much more used for videowork than Nikons.
One reason might be Magic Lantern which is only availible for Canon DSLRs.
+Video DSLR Tutorial Magic lantern is not available for the T6s and wont for months because of the processor differences, etc.
If you want a videography camera, go for the 7D MK II at the very least, or the 5K (full frame) camera. APSC sensors are very disappointing for video in comparison

Hey, ich hätte mal eine Frage. Und zwar fotografiere ich halt hobbymäßig sehr viel mit dem Handy und wollte mir endlich mal eine richtige Kamera zulegen. Jedoch weiß ich nicht genau, welche am besten zum Einstieg ist. Mit der Bedienung etc hab ich kein Problem, ich kenne mich eig mit fast allen Modellen aus. Ich bräuchte auf jeden Fall eine Kamera mit einem Touchscreen und wenn sie aufklappbar wäre, wärs auch nicht schlecht. Wäre die Canon EOS 750d dafür geeignet? Und was sind so deine Erfahrungen mit ihr? Danke im Vorraus !!

You will only see the difference if you zoom in a lot or make a biiiig print out. 12 MP is totally fine for pretty much everything you do.

Only the name. I don't know the reason it has a differen name in USA(Rebel) and Europe(7XXD) when they are the same thing.
+Anthony Atencio Cause 700D is the European and International name and version. They have to pay extra taxes on "video cameras" which is any that shoots for 30+ min. So for example the 700D stops recording clips at 29.99 while the t5i can record longer. At least I think thats how it works lol. There are probably some other minor differences as well.

I personal prefer Canon a lot over Nikon, but that's like Nike vs Adidas or Apple vs Samsung :D
I advise you to go to a shop and try them out. Then you see which one you prefer.
If you consider taking quite some videos then definitely go with the Canon.
Video DSLR Tutorial I seem to like everything a lot about the Nikon. The only thing which worries me in them is their live view performance. The focusing and shutter lag is slow, i suppose and the camera dosent preview the changes made in settings in the live view mode. Are these relatively big issues? Any solutions to them? Are they a reason to go Canon? Will getting a 50mm prime help in better live view focusing? :o

The camera needs a big aperture, means a small "F-Number" like f/1.4.
Many TH-camr use a Sigma 18-35 f/1.8
Sorry but its a huge huge huge... a BITCH...those labels come out every few monthes with a new model...as I bought my very new model 700d they wr making the 750d and working on the 800d and degsin the 850d and thinking about the 900d and more and more just to sell more and more...well they have to earn new money every day

They are pretty different, aren't they? 750D is a APS-C, D600 is a fullframe so it really depends on whether you want to go with fullframe or APS-C. Full frame lenses generally cost a lot more so you will have more costs on that. But of course full frames do deliver quite a nice image. The D600 is already quite some years old so don't expect too much convinience from its video function. Consider that you won"t have auto focus in video mode for example.

Image quality...mmh...the only clear difference I can see is the improved high ISO capabilities.
The 750D can shoot clean at ISO 1600
