Because of this, ALL of the Skaven technology i.e warp-fire throwers, ratling-guns and so on and so forth, just stop working. All of the above marvels of Skaven are of course powered by warp stone. Would this work for the negative effects of warp stone as well? Let's say you are being exposed to warp stone constantly, even intake the stuff, maybe getting somewhat ill or weird or mutated by it and you walk into the Elven land - would you be healed?

In the reference to the story of Kavzar, does that story predate the lore of the Tomb Kings and the story of Negash with the references to the Skaven in that lore?
It’s entirely possible the bell giver was a deacon of tzenntch wh9 went solo, but still this why you fine check these agreements and always keep a receipt. Yes yes
A video about Skaven society during the end-times would be awesome, I feel like the average Warhammer enjoyer knows very little about that and I think it's pretty neat how different (in some ways, drastically) it ended up being once they had a unified goal.
I'm sure that that is meant of the average skaven, after all not all skaven have can make rattlings, jezzilers, or other weapons of war. The average skaven can probably make a reasonable effective sword, shields, or other arms. Similar to not all being magic users, not all can build machinery.
it is impressive to imagine tier one Skavens to spent time in the same room, discussing politics, making decisions without ripping each other to fluffy pieces at first glance
The true origin of Skavens? Well there was NIMH breeding intelligent rats who learnt to speak and fight with Nikodemus being the first grey seer leading his people's destiny. When the world fell back into the state what we know as Warhammer Fantasy they became what we we know today.
Just as the Ruinous Powers are shaped by the thoughts and feelings of mortals, so too are their underlings. Personally, I don’t believe that the GHR’s related to the other gods of Chaos. My reasoning’s that, while Tzeentch and Nurgle* are certainly foul beings, they’re not cowards. Tzeentch’s proud and doesn’t back down from challenge, instead outwitting his opponent(s) until they’re bested by their own accomplishments. Nurgle’s a coward neither, taking immense joy in his own work and his family. In my opinion, the Great Horned Rat was already shaped by the thoughts and feelings of the mortals in the world of Warha** , and those thoughts and feelings of dread and terror of the existence were made manifest as the most paranoid deity in the cosmos. *the ones most often accused of being the GHR **My cute nickname for the World-That-Was

Shaven Culture is so interesting!, I wonder what their architecture looks like?; Maybe rat statues and rusty and shabby materials as well as warp paint or something, and to decorate maybe there are skaven queekish runes and banners. How do they worship the Great Horned Ray? Besides sacrifice? And besides the Grey Seers, is there a organized religious clergy for their religion? Do they have holidays or festivals? Vermintide exists so yeah I guess.
You can! Google skaven d&d 5e I added then into my campaign, and my players love cutting down their hordes, but nearly shit them selves when they know a ratogre is approaching, or one of them gets pinned by a night runner. As a PC they are a little overpowered, so show your DM what you want to do and I'm sure they will work to make it happen with a little editing.
In a world where the immortal, the living, the undead and otherworldy demons fight for dominance, the race that feeds on everything has more advantages than you think.

it is impressive to imagine tier one Skavens to spent time in the same room, discussing politics, making decisions without ripping each other to fluffy pieces at first glance
@@phreakazoith2237 AAA tier Skaven got underlings for that
I subscribed to your channel very enjoyable thank you
Thanks for your work, mister!
Dude, your show is awesome!
Someone else said this before me, but they should make a movie out of that Tilean poem. It reads like a horror story
Food as important as warpstone? Eat-eat warpstone!
For a more immersive version of The Doom of Kavzar watch this video! th-cam.com/video/HdrCeraprBo/w-d-xo.html it has sound effects and everything!
skaven will also attack with reckless ness when having superior numbers
I look forward to playing this faction when I pick the game up
It's a hoard army that often blows itself up, so it's bound to be fun
Enjoy yourself mate
I am really sorry. But I there is only one like button... This is sooo good!
This all knowledge to combat rats I'll never see in my life. Worth my time.
*the ones most often accused of being the GHR
**My cute nickname for the World-That-Was
Gavin Christenson dude I love this, what an awesome thing lolol
@@TheDarkscribe Thank you. It means a lot to find support in an unpopular idea
I love skaven. They're who I want to play.
So those are the giant rats that make all of da rules
Who created all this lore? It is amazing
Skaven! Yes, yes!
Sooo... How is this different from human society?
We dont have magic super meth
Yes we do it's called uranium
they're prettier
your lore videos are dope man just wish you'd dive deeper make more vids pls man
This is oddly great to sleep to.
Quick question, would you be willing to do a series on Age of Sigmar?
I mean you have used a Skaven vs Fire Slayers picture, so why not?
One day I might, but I just don’t know enough about Age of Sigmar currently to comfortably make a lore video on it, but thanks for the comment and the support.
Bro, thanks to you I now think that the Skaven are the most interesting society in the Warhammer world and have grown to love them like you do. Yes, yes!
We know that they have monks so likely at least some organisation.
Great podcast man!!!
Loved this, thanks for this video
Rats, the rats, we're the rats
We prey at night, we stalk at night. We're the rats!
My PC's mouse is glowing in strange shades of green :S
Stay seated. Your local witch-hunte....ehem...IT service dude will be at your home as soon as possible to bur...ehem...deal with the issue...
I want to play a skaven in d and d
You can! Google skaven d&d 5e
I added then into my campaign, and my players love cutting down their hordes, but nearly shit them selves when they know a ratogre is approaching, or one of them gets pinned by a night runner. As a PC they are a little overpowered, so show your DM what you want to do and I'm sure they will work to make it happen with a little editing.
I love the skaven and Never really thought of them as evil, but In warhammer who really is evil?
Subbed! Great content mate!
What happened to the dwarves at skavenblight? Did they just die without telling the men?
In a world where the immortal, the living, the undead and otherworldy demons fight for dominance, the race that feeds on everything has more advantages than you think.
pls do standalone doom of kavzar story with the gud eerie music! it was a really good vid btw u got a sub extra!
The music is perfect
the music is amazing ... Horror ....
You got this description completely wrong. Gold have had their time... Its time for the skaven to rise.
Is this...? Surely not..... is this a scaven video that doesn’t use vermintide music
That poem sounds like it was told BY skaven or FOR skaven.
Real life rats are extremely smart, but due to their small size they cannot develop a true intelligence.
In my opinions, if rats were actually as big as the average skaven specimen, they would develop the same tech and tools in no time.
Fascinating race
