My 10K Cinema Camera Setup (Sony FX6)

- How's it going everybody! In today's video we will go over the 10K FX6 Cinema I rig I use for all my videos, short films, and client gigs/ projects!

Just a quick note. You don’t have to use both monitors on the Fx6 in order to get menu functionality. You can enable menu functionality through your HDMI or SDI monitor. Allowing you to run this rig without having to use the small Sony monitor.

Sick rig! Curious though - why not use the P-tap on the Tilta plate? That way you only have to disconnect the battery during battery swaps instead of also having to unplug the p-tap

how do you mix and master your audio to sound as good ? are you recording to the mke600? found your video by looking to get the best audio out of m mke600 for some reason. nice build!
Hi. Grelt vid. Logs of tips. I am abort to upgrade to this or The fx3 and You mentioned that it is only on The Sony monitor You have Access to YOUR menus. I thought you also can get the menus on the external monitor. Please clarify, since this is a major requirement for me. Thanks again.
Hi there! So you can in fact access the menu using an external monitor and you don’t need to use the one Sony provides. I just hadn’t learned how to change it in the menu at the time of the video 😅

Nice setup. FX6 is a great camera - too bad the top handle is the only way to get audio into it.
I recently saw a video on how to get audio without using the tub handle. It does require the use of a Atmos ninja five using the HDMI audio option.
Im going to buy the sony fx6, which u recommend to record my shots? I have to buy a cfexpress or I can rocord directly on Atomos Ninja V?
I recommend the fx6 if you plan on shooting anything lowlight or if you’re going to be the only one operating the camera. You can use the Atmos ninja V, but it really depends on if you plan on editing ProRes or not.
