    My battery died the other day and since then my AC has been acting weird. It’s done it before and normally I just remove the fuse and allow it to reset, but that wasn’t working.
    Thanks to you I can finally drive in the rain and actually see.

    Thanks. This work for my 2004 Yukon.
    Does anyone know what the permanent fix is for this problem? Is it to replace the actuator that the plug plugs into? If so does anyone have a part number by chance?

    How do you depress that clip?

    How long do you wait before unplugging after starting the truck? Also, do you know where the passenger side actuator is located? When winter comes around, just plug it back in. :)

      @scottlawson840 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just unplug it until you replace it. Mine starts out cold so I unplugged it then started the engine and it stays on cold now (90-100 Reno’s here lately). I don’t think you need to unplug it while the engine is running

      I unplugged mine and THEN started the engine and it is staying cold like I want. Will fix it permanently soon but this works.

    So basically leave the plug out, until you get it fixed, and it will continue to blow cold?

    • @scottlawson840
      @scottlawson840 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup. I unplugged mine without starting the engine and when I started it it stays cold like I want it to.

      @@scottlawson840 ever find a permanent fix?

    • @scottlawson840
      @scottlawson840 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joeyv821 I actually haven’t replaced the actuator yet but I have it. I just plugged it back in when it got colder (gave me heat only) and I unplugged it again this past summer (gave me cold only) I’ll be replacing the actuator soon. That’s the best way to fix it but you could just keep unplugging it every summer or when it’s hot. Problem is you get one or the other that way so when it’s warm in the daytime but cold at night it may not be the best way.

    If I had you watched your video first I would not be sitting here with a bowl full of nuts and screws and and interior trim pieces scattered all over the placenwhile the AC blows cold like it should.
