Happy Monday, Warren! Hopefully I can try out your recipe soon. I'll see how it works with the sensor/processor on the X--T3. Right now my X-S20 won't power on, tried different batteries etc. So it's going to the shop, maybe this week. I think the X100VI and the X-S20 are the same sensor/processor combo, right?
Bummer on the power issue. Hope it gets fixed and returned soon. Yeah they are the same gen processors in the X100vi and X-S20. You should get close to it with the X-T3 as well.
Fantastic simulation recipe! One of the best I have seen so far, and really reminds me of actual bw stock. I'll try it out on the x100v. I agree, the grain is hard to level... at times it feels like there isn't enough, and I bump to small strong, and then it's too much... I wish there was an in-between, or might be I need to better control my high ISO limits. Curious if you have tried the recent Lumix cameras with their LUT functionality. I saw that they have 30 something in camera options, and you can edit and control them from a phone app. So far I have only used fujifilm simulations. Take care, and thanks again for the awesome video and recipe!
