Damn, that roommate story was pretty sad to listen to. I have a binging problem and the fact op was willing to share her food and not even touch her roommates food showed a lot of strength and kindness. That roommate was very entitled and doesn’t seem to ever once pay it back to op for letting her share her food. To call her a cow, which sucks for both, for struggling with an eating disorder and eating HER own food is astonishing. I think I’ve grown enough to call bullshit like that out more now, but that must’ve been anxiety inducing for op. The roommate should’ve asked if anything, should’ve asked her or somebody on financial advice on how to handle her money better, something! It’s the ungrateful entitlement for me

I’m a woman and have been working in the IT field for over 20 years. I dealt with a crotchety old dude, who asked for a “male support technician”, since I can’t “possibly know what I’m doing. No offense.” So, I reassign a ticket to one of my lower support tier coworkers, someone he asked for specifically. Old dude got frustrated that the male tech he asked for had spent several days unsuccessfully trying to fix the problem. When the male tech re-escalates the ticket up to the tier 3 support (me), I did a desk-side visit and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. I did enjoy the beet red look on his face, when he realized how much time was wasted on the problem. Now when his tickets land in my queue, I always ask him if he wants his ticket re-assigned. He quietly says no and let’s me do my job.
As a Pagan (and an artist), that choosingbeggar situation was hilariously relatable. Also, lots of Satanists are also Pagans. They're not totally mutually exclusive lol.
The big problem with satanism is that they coopted satanism as a term from the Christians so generally people think it is about worshipping satan when it isn't and they are just a bit trolly to the conservative Christians.
@okhayy okhayy pagan is a type of religion. Like how Christianity, Islam, Judaism, etc are all Abrahamic religions. Paganism includes many ancient religions, Wicca, modern "heathenry" (Norse/Celtic paganism), most polytheistic religions, some Native /First Nations religions, etc.

Imagine a mother from a 3rd world country, that helplessly had to witness the agonizing starvation of her child, watching this video... She would have begged on her knees for just a single piece for her kid And here we have this person who is "starving" but refused to take perfectly fine food for free

@@Rhaenarys Nah, the poster donated their food from their wedding to the homeless shelter, and the CB is insinuating it is rude and insulting cuz it's going to remind the women at the homeless shelter about marriage or something
12:39 - While I get that kid's a spoiled prick, and that having your needs tended to as an adult would be sweet, when you're a kid that's just your parents deciding NOT to commit criminal negligence. "What do you get for doing chores?" "Um... dinner?" "You know they're not allowed to just decide not to feed you if you don't do chores, right? Like that's literally a crime."
So long as the child isn't starving, it isn't a crime. Nothing says you need to get dinner every day, or that you need to get 3 meals a day. If I have 3 children, one of whom refuses to do chores, there is absolutly nothing preventing me from sending them to bed without dinner (while their chore-doing siblings get to eat), so long as it isn't negativly affecting their physical health. Personally I prefer to go the; Meat, Veggies, Soda, and Dessert for children who do their chores, but a bowl of grits/oatmeal/or porridge for the children who don't. They can still eat, they just won't enjoy it.
I’m of the mindset that you should encourage kids to take responsibility for their living area, regardless of reward. Like you live in the house, so you should take care of it. Maybe an allowance as a separate thing, that gets docked for bad behavior but not intrinsically linked to chores.
@@coreyforbis5612 and what irrelevant "point" have you dreamed up and projected onto the OP's comment? The OP didn't indicate that they were trying to make a point, they made a claim about criminal law, that was factually wrong.
That last comment on the wedding food donation had me speechless and my mouth hanging open! I was in a therapeutic halfway house for women in addiction recovery. Many of us were recently out of unhealthy relationships, and most would have been in shelters if not for the program. It’s funded by the state of NY and donations. We ALL would have been over the moon for the awesome food, and we wouldn’t have felt anything but well wishes for the couple who donated the expensive catered meal!
The gf who ordered pizza for her ex dodged a real nasty bullet. She should thank God for this invaluable knowledge she attained for just the price of a pizza.
Cancel the pizza order, even though I'm starving! I would've been like, "alright, looks like you were more or less starving for attention rather than food anyway."
The entitled child asking their parents for money to go shopping made me, yet again, thank my parents for the way they raised me and that we were "poor" comparing to basically everyone else in my classes. Sure, I was jealous and all, even "attacked" my parents for not giving me as much money as the others got. But they sat me down very early in life and told me how money works, that they don't have high paying jobs and basically "we don't have the money". And that really helped me and I just looked at everyone else as spoiled brats from then on. I have always gotten more than I actually needed honestly, so I am just appreciative of my parents and thank them as often as I can. I was still sad we couldn't do some things, travel and get certain thing etc. But at least I understood why. Also they told me and taught me about saving since I was young (a bit harder when I live alone and lost my job so I have to take from my savings to survive and I am a spender bc it helps with my mental illness) and for every day that passes I feel more and more thankful for how I grew up, especially hearing about and seeing these spoiled and entitled people of all ages. I am autistic, and I understand way more than these entitled kids and karens and anti-vaxers etc. maybe because I have to try harder, but still.
Oh. Also I did chores when they asked me to becuase that's what they taught me, and it's just common human decency. Like they said above, you get food, shelter and healthcare etc, so just help one another out lol. My brother and I actually fought about who'd do the dishes at my grandpa's on his birthday once XD (we split it up 50/50 lol)
Right, like I'm not aware of many forms of paganism that recognise Satan as a thing. It'd be like a Christian getting upset at well... Norse runes or something.

I wanted to make sure he had leftovers so he wouldn't go hungry. My bad for not asking, but my intentions were legit to help. You seem to be the only person on this post to have an issue with me not asking and just ordering what i thought would be substantial and last a few days. That's an incredibly entitled viewpoint. Yes, i could have ignored him or said no, but i came from nothing and worked hard to be in the position i am now and i will ALWAYS help people in need, ex or not, because i know what it's like to struggle to put food on the table. I am a female. And you may be shocked as to how I got to this video, well... I’ll tell you. I was walking through the kitchen as all women do when I tripped over a fallen cooking pot in the kitchen, stumbled into the laundry room (where I spend a huge portion of time) and hit my head with the wooden kitchen spoon that was in my hand. I became very dizzy and stumbled outside, carrying a sandwich in one hand and a baby in the other, handing my dear hard working husband the sandwich before accidentally stumbling back into the garage which was full of many shiny metal things like tools and other things that I am completely unfamiliar with. I stumbled back inside, nearly tripping over my cooking apron and slamming my head on the keyboard of my husbands computer. When I awoke I was shocked to see I am now watching this here TH-cam video, which is incredible for I am but a woman who can not comprehend the handlings of anything but a kitchen, laundry machine, or child.
"Women aren't good at computers" Where's that guy from, Mars? My mother is a total wiz with computers and since I'm quadriplegic I use a computer with my EYES.

Dang, so many people do ironing because it’s such a common thing and it makes me feel inferior because when I get near an iron I get scared remembering the time I was a dumbass and grabbed the iron by the plate while it was on
I guess the person is acting offended because it’s a couple who were going to get married and seeing a happy couple would be bad for the women at the shelter? IDK
Here we have a case of someone being offended on someone else's behalf ("more than likely" means I don't know but I'm pretty sure). Also after hearing I was thinking what if the couple were same-sex like two women who were getting married and decided to donate to women's shelter, and even if it were a man and woman or two men why would it matter? The catering already made the food and it would have been a waste if they just told them to throw it out so having it donated to the shelter to feed people there is both simple and incredible. The free food lady is ridiculous, I worked for a business that during COVID gave us free food from the canteen, including sandwiches, and drink (if you didnt want hot food) in fact you got al l three meals for free! As a cook, when people say they're "tired of eating the same food" just says they lack creativity.
@ There's a difference between cooking for yourself and only having a limited variety at a restaurant. Most restaurants in my area don't give their employees full access to the menu. I would have a limited amount of items I could order, it wasn't free, and no, I didn't want to pay my employer to eat the same thing every day. I wasn't talking about cooking for myself, so being a chef has nothing to do with this?
My mother was emotionally abusive, made terrible financial decisions, and neglected me when I was a child. One person's normal is another person's "nut job". It would be far too easy for someone to claim he accidentally shared hate speech by reading someone else's Reddit post - this would also include any small comment he would make after reading through it. While there are some black and white "this is insanity", there is also a lot of nuance. That would also be opening the door for people to argue their religious beliefs on his channel and spread hate to ones they don't agree with. There is so much nuance and relativity that that intent wouldn't necessarily matter to an incredibly large population. It could also be viewed as endorsing certain behaviors and/or beliefs. Food story: if you can't afford the more expensive food or more luxery meals, just don't eat it every day, make yourself more simple meals like a sandwich and some extra's, buy food with discounts etc. Don't steal someone's food because you have less money. Damn, that roommate story was pretty sad to listen to. That roommate was very entitled and doesn’t seem to ever once pay it back to op for letting her share her food. I think I’ve grown enough to call bullshit like that out more now, but that must’ve been anxiety inducing for op. Old dude got frustrated that the male tech he asked for had spent several days unsuccessfully trying to fix the problem. When the male tech re-escalates the ticket up to the tier 3 support (me), I did a desk-side visit and fixed the problem in 10 minutes.
Being pagan isnt even a specifically belief lol. It's the belief in multiple gods. Guy is a moron lol.
Stereotypical fundie pagan unfortunately. Basically far right fundamentalists who are only pagan cause it's more "tribal" than say Christianity

12:39 - While I get that kid's a spoiled prick, and that having your needs tended to as an adult would be sweet, when you're a kid that's just your parents deciding NOT to commit criminal negligence.
"What do you get for doing chores?"
"Um... dinner?"
"You know they're not allowed to just decide not to feed you if you don't do chores, right?

That is such a toxic minefield that you would have to be a fool to attempt navigating through it.
I'd ask that through patron if that's something you are genuinely hoping for, as you have a better chance of him seeing it as there are significantly less people on patron. Plus you would be significantly more likely to get a response from him. I know he has has some stories involving entitled, crazy religious people.
@@lissaw4 as I said previously, it would be for his patreon paid sub channel. Not this one.
And people need to remember that 1. Once somethings on the internet, its on the internet forever.
2. Once its been posted on a public forum that has millions of followers like say. REDDIT, the expectation of being in a judgement free and private zone goes out the window at mach 1.
Thanks for your input.
Hey good timing I'm about to pack for my stay in the eating disorder unit of the hospital hope you guys are having a better day then me :)
You got this! I hope you recover soon and feel better!
In his defense, how is he supposed to eat his PIZZA WITHOUT HIS DRINK?!
I work at a homeless shelter and we get donations every day. We are always grateful and express appreciation. To the person who left that comment, we would say, "They donated this food out of the goodness of their hearts. You want to post something like this, then you can jus remain silent. To the donators, we express our heartfelt gratitude that you would donate to our organization. May God bless you."
Hey rSlash, can you please cover r/IDOworkherelady? Loads of good "you fool, I AM the manager"
ps. I'm goin to keep commenting this until you either cover it, or say that you won't
I second this. It's a great subreddit!
I would actually like to see this sub reddit
I’m curious to know if rSlash knows what Mobile devices are.

Food story: if you can't afford the more expensive food or more luxery meals, just don't eat it every day, make yourself more simple meals like a sandwich and some extra's, buy food with discounts etc. Don't steal someone's food because you have less money.
My parents pay my food, the most expensive they pay for me is cheese (I eat vegetarian cheese at home), but if I want avocados (love them), I will pay them myself, and since I am also tight on money, so I see it as a treat. She should do the same and just save some money for the more expensive foods, if she really want them.
Amd why do you decline free food? I wish I could take free food, but I am very sensitive to certain types of food :(
0:00 Oh man :(
I wish someone ordered me a pizza... what an ungrateful arse
Binge eater, your roommate is your friend as long as you're buying. Friends like this you don't need, move on.
Having free food at work saves so much money its insane how picky she was
First guy: MY DIET DR.KELP?!
HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO FINISH MY FOOD WITHOUT MY DRINK?!
Hell yeah about free food! I had to stay in hospital for almost a month a year and a half ago, and lots of people here wouldn't finish their plates for reasons like 'it's blunt', 'too simple' and stuff. I was like 'Yay, free food!' and would honestly lick my plate clean if it was appropriate XD
I mixed the eggs with the sausage
I was cooking for my dear husband when I found your channel one day in the soup! Hallelujah blessed my day! Thoughts and prayers!
i don't know how people can be this entitled and not feel like horrible people.
i used to actively refuse money from my parents.
That first guy is crazy Casey's pizza is amazing 🤤 and as someone that's been starving before food is food.
Imagine choosing to starve because you don't like the food. What a jerk honestly
Every day something keeps falling on my desk. It kept scaring the heck out of me. It was my tiny plastic baby that is sitting on a small piece of tape on my speaker. The tape isn't the stickiest anymore so the baby keeps falling off.
Dang. You’re gonna need more babies. And gorilla glue.
The final “Eff You” vs “Eff me yourself coward” was the moment we all wish we could have
