    I first learned how to cut oranges and other citrus fruit from Jacques when he had his early shows on KQED/PBS many years ago. I've been using this technique ever since. :)

    Just finishing up this dessert. It was so good, a great balance with the grapefruit and a sweet apricot jam. I ripped up the basil, spread it around the grapefruit and it was a little taste of heaven. I got a bit of fig jam to go with some oranges which I will do the same way.

    Apricot jam and citrus supremes. Such Jacques. His technique is so simple for cutting the supremes, it has made more sense to me than any other TV or TH-cam cook doing them.

    You have made me so happy with a few of your simple recipes presented here. First it was the crepes. Had no idea they could be made so easily, and loved them so many years ago on streets of Paris. So first I was on a crepe kick very recently. But that was a little bit fattening, so now I have switched to "fridge" soups. Really loving them. I add a few more things to them. Proud they are lighter than my normal fare might be.

    Watch the other cooking shows and they are using extremely expensive ingredients, "can be found in many specialty stores" is the quote they use. Jacques pulls stuff out of the fridge, pantry and garden and makes the MOST WONDERFUL MEALS in just seconds. Watched this and remembered I have a lemon and a lime in the fridge. Chicken thighs, twice baked potatoes and a tomato/onion salad. For dessert, you guessed it, lemon and lime with raspberry "sauce". LOVE YOU JACQUES!!!
