Regarding Nero's relationship with Kyrie - If I'm not wrong, Kyrie's parents never adopted Nero. They were close friends. He was still in an orphanage throughout his childhood. So it's not exactly a "incestuous" relationship they have.
Even tho Nero is seen as simple and good for beginners to learn the fundamentals, he has a lot of depth to him that other action games don't even have for their entire game.
My favourite character in DMCV. Not as complex as Dante, and not as lean and focused as Vergil, and more fun than V lol. His expanded kit in DMCV is great and EX moves raise his skill ceiling to infinity. Not being able to switch Devil Breakers on the fly kind of sucks, but they are supposed to be disposable so it sort of makes sense. With all of his mechanics, he is the only one that made me change controls from default.
I got to meet Johnny Yong Bosch, Nero's English voice actor, at a convention around the time DMC4 came out and got him to sign my copy of the game. Nice guy. Also a former Power Ranger just like Vergil's English voice actor. One detail I love about the Mega Buster Devil Breaker is that it actually changes Nero's jump animation so he does the same jump pose MegaMan does in the old NES games. I think he gets a MegaMan slide, too.

Vergil is my absolute favorite character to play, but Nero's probably the peak of player expression in DMC5 with all the crazy arms and combos that are exclusive to them
It's and B-A rank taunt. If you have the style guage at a Badass or Apocalyptic. Press the Taunt button without locking on and it has a "random" chance of happening.
i just kinda wanna say how good he is in the air compared to everyone else? he technically has a triple jump if you count his air taunt, and said taunt caunt be used to MAX act
Honestly I don't think this is very useful, as everything you show can be learned in a single, casual playthrough without labbing anything. Nice editing as always though.
Original concept art suggests that you would be able to swap back and forth. They were also supposed to different powers for his Devil Bringer arm rather than metal prosthetics too.
@@MTdaBlacking had a debate with a friend about how his arm should of been treated. And I firmly believed developers could have turns it into a "mega man" kind of thing. Where he kills a big bad demon and that enhanced his powers a little more to gain his human arm and then throughout the game each unique boss you defeat you steal part of their power and this gives you the option of just devil bringer and switching/ casting unique combos gained from the bosses.
I actually uninstalled DMC 5. The combat felt really weird to me. This is my second DMC game, the first being the remake which I really enjoyed. Maybe its not for me? Everything felt to simple and barebones. After I unlocked V and tried him out for a bit , I just lost interest

No Nero is just a clone of DmC Dante. Even Capcom admitted so

V is the worst playing character in the game. You will not get what the combat is after just a few hours.
