In tears over the way you talk about your son and your reference to neutral milk hotel. I always tell my daughter the line from “in the aeroplane over the sea,” that goes, “what a beautiful face I have found in this place.” What a miracle it is that of all the humans possible, I get HER! Are you kidding me? I feel like the luckiest woman on earth.
I was very intrigued by the way Kackie started using a very light shade of bronzer to counteract/even out the lightness in the spaces of the face (face spaces?) end up a little too light after all the base products go on.
I’m waiting for a sale & a good enough excuse combo before I pull the trigger on VB and evening out face space contrast was not enough of a reason to buy a new bronzer when I don’t need a new one.
BUT - I was keeping my eye out for something that would work in its place AND I ended up ordering the Gwen Stafani GXVE contour duo and it’s GOOD!! The powder side does the exactly the same thing, really nice light powder and it comes with a great cream contour product too. Firm but also super blendable. Very cute packaging.
I’m quite fair, (a little fairer than Kackie?) neutral leaning cool, and I got the lightest shade. Def recommend!!
I think Florida air being so healing for your poor dry nose isn’t just the humidity, it’s the salt content in that humidity! My sinuses are always so happy when I’m down there!
I have a 2 1/2 year old and I recently discovered the same thing--when I think of why people love me or why I love people, it's usually a list of traits or things about them that comes to mind, but with my son, I just love him because he IS. Something I never expected was that having a child would turn out to be really healing (not that I put that responsibility on him, but I'll take it if it's handed to me 😁) And I too have found it utterly unbelievable how many berries a toddler can eat in one sitting. You could just set up a conveyor belt of blueberries and he'd sit at the end of it with his mouth open for like a half hour.
My friend Lauren (boldlylauren on IG) once said to me, "no one prepares you for the berry budget."

Also, thank you for sharing your relationship between food and parenthood (3 that are 15,12,&8). I too have had struggled with those things. I've gotten into a mindset of nourishment. And through loving them and wanting to be the best for them, I've in turn been better for myself. Learned to love myself. There's still tough days, but they've thankfully lessened over the years. ❤❤❤

I'm struggling NOT to place a VBB order immediately. Everything I'm seeing lately is just crazy good. Ack!
I love these videos. I know I'm getting an honest opinion and I very much appreciate that. I love the VBB eyeliners, but have found that they do not hold up to high humidity or a gym workout. Perhaps what makes them so magical is what makes them a bit less hot weather friendly.

I don't think I'll ever need eyeliner in these bright colors, but I have a couple of the darker colors and they are my favorite eyeliner.
I am so intrigued by the blue and green liners but they are finicky on my oily eye lids so hesitant to buy. I have one and it just doesn’t seem to set
This is me with blush every time all the time! 😂 More is more and I’m loving it!
The VB eye liners are extremely soft, almost like an eyeshadow stick and will give you an amazing messy smoky eye effect but they will not give you a fine or even medium fine line.
The VB lid lusters are so high shine they are suitable for fancy night time events only in my opinion. The tea rose lid luster doesn't really flatter pale skin and brown eyes (Khakie excepted). I think it could work well on darker skins and and on blue eyed people it might give an editorial look.
I LOVE Djokovic. Integrity to the max. Held is ground on the “vax” and is whole food plant based.

I wanted to thank you!!! A while ago ( probably quit a while ago) I remember you mentioning the INN beauty Face Glaze. I was on the lookout for it but cause I live in Canada it didn’t seem the be available anywhere but a few weeks ago they had it on IPSY in the shop. My first thought was “that’s the stuff Kackie was talking about” 🤓😎🤓I was thrilled and ordered 2 cause they were only 9$. Anyway they arrived the other day and omg I love it. It works beautifully and feels super hydrating on my dry dry maturing skin. It’s equally lovely as a primer or worn alone on a no/super light makeup day.

I am loving those turq and green VBB eyeliners but I have the dark grey one and it smudges EVERYWHERE on me… Am I the only one this happens too? Everyone swears by them but they don’t set down on me at all. 😭

You’ll probably hate it because “colour adaptive” but the new Fenty stick thing is beautiful. Those stupid adaptive things normally look awful on both my cheeks and lips but whatever magic is in the product makes me look ALIVE.

Gone is the sheet ultra flattering peachy pink.
The new formulation is an absolute abomination. A dusty crusty powdery mess. Pastel apricot with a strong white base. Powder flying everywhere.
They say they reformulated to get rid of the talc, but if the new version isn't a pan of pressed dust, I don't know what is.
Snag a silver box before it's gone from this world because Dior did that blush dirrrrtttyyy with that reformulation. 😢😢😢
