I have dry skin and that ilia skin serum feels like putting motor oil on my face. I cannot get it to blend in with my skin, I can *feel* it as a layer sitting on top of my skin, my hair and other bits stick to it, and after about 5 minutes my face starts to itch . It's not an allergic reaction but literally like I have some kind of lubricant oil on my face. I cannot figure out how this works for anyone but that's the amazing thing about makeup. Completely unusable for me but others love it.

It's always fun seeing product comparisons. I was SO excited for the new Rare Beauty bronzer shades because I have to err on the side of cooler tones, but Bright Side has a very off-putting green undertone whenever I try and swatch it in stores. I'm sticking with Happy Sol and am happy for the olive-toned customers who might get along well with it, but I'll still wonder what could've been....

Still think the Clinique gel is the prettiest version of a bronzer in a tube and I love all four but for different use cases. But then…I’m a fan of the Chantecaille potted gel formula-which you dislike for the color, if I remember correctly. Btw, the Chantecaille gel bronzer/highlighters in a tube are excellent, too (just as good as the tubed blushes and I use at least one as a blush for my light olive skin).
Will you review the new MUFE concealer? Would be interested to see how it compares to the Givenchy

Do you have any suggestions for cheaper/different versions of the lighter VB bronzer shade for people who are more or less your skin twin? I’d love to have an adjuster like that but would rather not pay for the whole brick just for that 😅

question to anyone who can answer- how do you find a trustworthy place to go for a chemical peel? i’m not exactly in a bustling metropolis and (maybe i’m showing a bias here) it makes me a bit skeptical
The chemical peels themselves usually require training and certification. The VI peel website has a practitioner locator.
What was the shade of the YSL candy glaze that you demoed??? It’s beautiful!!!!!!!!
She said shade 15 I believe but that shade looks totally different on the Sephora website 🤷🏻♀️🙃

How does the uoma compare to the kulfi concealer?
The kulfi has kind of a pleasant waxiness to it, feels like the old fitglow a little. In effect they're fairly similar but I think the UOMA wears lighter and probably has more shades.

I find the Les beige’s doesn’t fully dry down. I feel it if I touch my face even after setting. The No.1 is so beautiful but it breaks me out.
