The abandoned videos is where I started watching you many years ago. Maybe about 6-7 years ago. They are my favorite and always have been! I’m not super big into the ghost videos but I support what you do, just not something I like to watch. Thanks for all your uploads either way!
I just don’t understand why family doesn’t come and clean it out, or call a historical society to come get historical stuff! I know for a fact that singer sewing machine is worth money! Love your videos!
This is a really common theme all over the world. Sometimes these people pass away with debt and the family doesn't own the home anymore. The banks are more interested in the property itself and leave the home to rot away. Sometimes there is no family left. But I think many times it's just the tragedy of losing a loved one, it's so great that their relatives don't want to return to the home... They are too afraid to go back. I really think that's the answer to most situations. It's sad. I wonder if Josh has ever been contacted by the families of these places.
It's called a root-cellar, they were used to store canned foods and wine because it was cool and dark. Excellent vlog Josh! I really enjoyed this one!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
YESSSS please keep doing abandoned places. I feel something deeply when i see your shows. Thank you so much. Also, I might add that your personality is one of the best for both the ghost hunting and the abandonment shows. Thanks again ❤
This is much better to watch than the spooky ones. As usual everyone has ruined those. (the world today)This is you!!!! I enjoy it. Thank you . Great job my boy. From a 65 yr old retired lady who enjoys exploring.
Josh these are my favorite videos ❤ I love your ghost videos too but there's just something about going through an old abandoned house and learning it's story. Oh btw that Singer is worth A LOT of money and so is that Vanity in the master bedroom, both look like they're from the 40's actually the whole bedroom set is worth a lot .
Hey Josh, a few things: • 7:20 - HOT SAUCE - That is actually aromatic bitters which are used in making cocktails. 🥃 • 10:32 - TV/FROZEN DINNERS - The problem with these is the sodium content, preservatives and other chemicals used during the manufacturing process. Totally unhealthy for you. • 17:27 - DESCENDENT - Not descendent (ancestor), it's dissident, diss-i-dent which is a person who opposes official policy. • 20:50 - HEATER - A wood burning fireplace only heats to a radius of 2,000 - 3,000 feet of a well insulated house. So a house built in the 30's wouldn't hold heat as well. • 39:15 - PORTRAIT - The portrait could have been one of his ancestors. • 39:22 - HIGHER UP - Correct term is commanding officer (C.O.). MERRY CHRISTMAS! 🎄 😇
The bottle you thought was hot sauce is aromatic bitters. Its often used in drinks. Mainly it would be misted into a martini glass before pouring the martini in. It does not take much, seriously a little mist goes a long way and can easily over power a drink.
A very popular drink in Australia is ‘Lemon, lime and Bitters’. You swish a small amount of Angostura Bitters around the inside edge of a glass then add lime cordial and lemonade. And as you very correctly said it is also commonly used in other cocktails but in small amounts as it is true to its name…’bitter’ lol. 😆👍🏼
He was a Free Mason AND in the Knights Templar? Very interesting! I’m thinking though that if he was in world war 1 his kids definitely won’t be in their 50s. Awesome exploration Josh! Merry Christmas!
Miss your old videos 😢 but you still uploading makes me happy, your channel has blown up throughout the 8 years I’ve been watching and I’m very happy for your success. Thank you Josh for the best thrill seeking content we love ❤
You have such a fun personality. I love how you just say whatever you are thinking even when you fumble the words. Your natural curiosity makes your videos some of the realest on TH-cam. I’ve been watching you for more than 5 years and are still the only abandoned channel I subscribe to. Great content Josh ❤
I love the ghost vids but I agree with everyone else. Abandoned vids is how I came across you and I just find them so much more interesting as each place has it's own little story, and some of the little gems you find in these places are amazing! So yes, I'm happy to see both types of vids from you, but more so the abandoned side ❤❤
I do wish you guys would close windows. It just speeds up the interior destruction by leaving windows wide open. Love what you do whether it’s exploring or ghosting.
Ok so, lol 11:02 for those that are too young. This is a single reel for a reel to reel tape system. My dad had 2 of them I vaguely remember. He would copy monophonic records to the reel tape via RCA. Then because cassette decks in cars were available, he would then copy from reel to reel to a blank cassette for mobile listening.
I really like the ghost hunting videos, but I absolutely love the exploring of old houses, mansions, hospitals and such. So please keep doing both! ❤️🌟
This was cool. However i was wishing that you would open a ghost tube app to try to communicate with the original home owners from the photo as I watched!
I've been watching your vids for the better part of a decade. You make the best urbex vids on YT. Please keep documenting forgotten history before it disappears and all we're left with are the ghosts...✌
The abandon and exploring is what I love and why I found your channel. I don’t like the in the dark stuff and wait until you drop these to watch them. Thanks for the amazing work.
This was an amazing video. I feel so bad that this HUGE piece of history will be lost to History. Thank You So Much for sharing this location with us. Please have an awesome day. And please stay safe out there.
Like I’ve said before… I get to see all these places without being able to go! Bc of you! Why I started watching you to begin with- but my other like on TH-cam is in the ghost categories- so you my friend!? Idc!!! Which I get! So long as it’s an exploring with Josh episode?!? I’m here. Ty for all your hard work, your steadfastness In keeping the videos /episodes pumping!!!
Yes, Josh please keep doing abandoned. There two request. First, when you enter an old place, please at least wear a mask. Second, use the right hand rule. This way you will be less likely to miss rooms and it is easier for us to get an idea of the layout as it appears croniligically. Thank you for your videos. That all being said, that tuxedo is pretty nifty of a find. I think it a pity the grand and great grand children left the letters, photoes, and slides behind.
I love your exploration videos, I really like the way you think about what they did in the past and you put research into it and I also like your ghost videos and really enjoy your way of seeing the past! Have great holidays and a happy new year!
I prefer old abandoned houses. These always make me feel nostalgic even though I'm only 30 lol. Reminds me of my grandparents house, they're long gone but their house always has lots of old stuff etc
Josh I love how you’re being sooo open with your content as you have been! I’m here for it. I love how you teach your listeners about your own knowledge! No but yeah I digg it and I know others will too!! Keep up the good work! It’s unique Thank you! ❤
Please keep doing abandoned. I love all your content, but I came for the abandoned and it's what I mostly tune in for, but I'll always support whatever you end up doing. You've gotten me through some really dark times in my life and I really love learning about all the history of all the abandoned places. :)
Hi Josh, Angosturra Bitters are for using in cocktail's. Such a cool place and a great story attached. In the attic there is a silver looking case which piqued my interest. A fantastic explore, thank you. Merry Christmas to You and Your crew and Family, here's wishing you guys an amazing 2024. xx 🥰
that was a very cool investigation, it is amazing how you start with very little information, and when you start looking through pictures and certificates the story start to come together, thank you Josh for a awesome investigation, take care and stay safe.
With so many families desperate for affordable homes I really wish the living relatives would have at least offered the home up to another family rather then let it rot. Its sad to see what happens to love one's belongings.
Happy Yule❣️🎄❣️ You make me laugh so hard sometimes 😂😂😂 I’m over 60 so I grew up with 90% of what y’all find amazing 😂😂 I agree tho, it is pretty cool stuff❣️❣️
Actually they are called hardest There is a difference between floppy desk and hard disk. And yes, people still use them. They don't hold a lot of storage, but they are still good for pictures or documents And since most people don't use them, you don't have to worry about someone stealing it and finding out what's on it. Lol😂
I like both paranormal videos you make AND The abandoned places! I’ve been subscribed since before you even had 1 million! Long time ago! I like how you sometimes collaborate with other explorers too!💕💕❤️❤️
I enjoy all of your videos, so much better than regular TV but this one felt like your "old school abandoned videos" as opposed to the "possessed places ones" - it's good. Their house is so neat!
That bunker was a bunker that you all were in. Also used for a storm shelter. Back in WW1-WW2 days many homes had bunkers and/or storm shelter or Storm Cellars. In WW1-WW2 times, they were built as a precaution incase the U.S. was invaded by any opposing countries at that time. Thats why the U.S. also had Air Raid Sirens in almost every town and city across the U.S., especially the high populated areas.
Another gorgeously shot video with your compelling and informational narration as you show us this time capsule. GREAT CONTENT lately, Josh! Happiest holidays!
the bunker that Steve found is not a bunker after all it is a root cellar with a used to store potatoes and apples and vegetables and stuff to keep them for the winter thanks Josh for sharing your adventure It was awesome
I think there is a chance that it was the man in the painting if you look at his eyes, the eyebrows and his hairline, but who knows. Great house. Happy New Year Josh.
Lovely house, totally agree Josh, I miss the abandoned especially when there's lots of the people's belongings left behind. Love you to go back to France 🇫🇷 though. Amazing abandoned mansions from the 17th/18th century that you explored last time you was there....Brill vid, keep up the incredible ghost hunting adventures & abandoned 🎉☆☆☆☆🎉
hi Josh and guys good to see you nice video nice to hear about the story of the place but sad this is so creepy 😱😱 and a little spooky so please be careful hope you guys be safe out there 🙏🙏🙏 you do a great job on your videos ❤️ you guys thanks for sharing merry christmas 🎄
Angustura Aromatic bitters is a kind of special essence bartenders use to mix with cocktails. It suppose to be two or three drops not too much. It's important for the taste.
I really think Josh should combine ghost investigating and the abandoned house / building/ abandoned them park stuff meaning go investigate abandoned learn history and be respectful but carry a few paranormal investigating equipment with you so can just ask a few questions and see what happens with Liz and other friends of yours that do abandon stuff and get away from the gimmick ghost stuff .
I missed the plain exploring videos all the places are so awesome, the ghost hunting are good as well just the abandoned ones have a nice vibe in the past

Same, I miss when he used to use resident evil and silent hill music in the videos
I really love abandoned videos more than haunted vids ❤ we got to know the history better
Same
this deserves to be top comment
@@quasimodoshunchback 100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!! The "haunted" or "evil spirit" thing went away with Ghost Hunters and their BS !
Yes me too I like his abandoned vids than those ghost hunting vids
I just don’t understand why family doesn’t come and clean it out, or call a historical society to come get historical stuff! I know for a fact that singer sewing machine is worth money! Love your videos!
50 euros in the 2nd hand store😅

Well, considering the place doesn’t have a speck of dust in it I’m sure somebody’s regularly in and out of there
It's called a root-cellar, they were used to store canned foods and wine because it was cool and dark.
Excellent vlog Josh! I really enjoyed this one!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
that bunker seems more like a root cellar for storing things like wine, veggies, potatoes, etc. it keeps a constant temp during different seasons.

We know what he meant teacher.

Amazing video Josh ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Also needed in Old-fashioneds and various other cocktails. Frequently used as a digestif/stomach-settler when mixed with seltzer water 🎉🍸🍹🥂
Aromatic bitters can be also used to calm heartburn.

I was about to commit that lmao
Nice to see you doing an abandoned house again. Merry Christmas Josh!! 🎅
He was a Free Mason AND in the Knights Templar? Very interesting! I’m thinking though that if he was in world war 1 his kids definitely won’t be in their 50s. Awesome exploration Josh! Merry Christmas!
Grandkids are probably in their 60's or 70's.

Hope your Holiday goes well 🎄

100% agree 👍
I love the abandoned and the story the previous owner's life tells as well as the abandoned property themselves.
Always enjoy abandoned homes. Never know what may still be there. Great find.
Yey another Josh abandoned video; a great Christmas Eve present. This place is amazing; I love this explore ❤❤ Merry Christmas Josh x

Awesome video! I love it when you do abandoned buildings. I’d love to see you do some historical abandoned as well one day.
I prefer old abandoned houses. These always make me feel nostalgic even though I'm only 30 lol. Reminds me of my grandparents house, they're long gone but their house always has lots of old stuff etc
What a nice Christmas gift. Thanks, Josh! 🎄❤️
Josh I love how you’re being sooo open with your content as you have been! I’m here for it.
I love how you teach your listeners about your own knowledge! No but yeah I digg it and I know others will too!! Keep up the good work! It’s unique
Thank you! ❤
Weird History is an awesome channel. 😊 I love the respect and appreciation you show every place you visit. War definitely has an impact on people.
(in your Outro) .... I SPY an antique FOLGERS can , from , Back when they were actually "coffee cans" made of Metal.
Happy Holidays Josh! Merry Christmas to you! What wonderful videos you do! Keep up the great work!:)
Please keep doing abandoned. I love all your content, but I came for the abandoned and it's what I mostly tune in for, but I'll always support whatever you end up doing. You've gotten me through some really dark times in my life and I really love learning about all the history of all the abandoned places. :)
Merry Christmas Josh! Looking forward to a New Year of adventures!🎉
I think they called them a root cellar for potatoes and such vegetables in the winter time
The old retro TV dinner TV commercial you included in this video was pretty cool 😎
Another abandoned video 🖤🏚 thank you so much, i really enjoyed it!
Hi Josh, hope you had a great Christmas 🎄.I miss your exploring videos. You always get so excited about seeing a new place.
Hi Josh, Angosturra Bitters are for using in cocktail's. Such a cool place and a great story attached. In the attic there is a silver looking case which piqued my interest. A fantastic explore, thank you. Merry Christmas to You and Your crew and Family, here's wishing you guys an amazing 2024. xx 🥰

I was born in 1961..I remember a lot of the older things we no longer have today....nice explore....😊❤❤❤
I feel so old on this channel lol. What seems like the olden days to these lovely young adults, was my childhood. Product of the 60’s 70’s.
With so many families desperate for affordable homes I really wish the living relatives would have at least offered the home up to another family rather then let it rot. Its sad to see what happens to love one's belongings.
Thank youuuu! An abandoned video and not the haunted ones you do!
Happy Yule❣️🎄❣️ You make me laugh so hard sometimes 😂😂😂 I’m over 60 so I grew up with 90% of what y’all find amazing 😂😂 I agree tho, it is pretty cool stuff❣️❣️
Thank you, Josh! for exploring another abandoned awesome place merry Xmas Stay Safe

Thank you Josh for a video on the holidays 🙏🏽❤️
Keep up the great content Josh 💯 Merry Christmas 🎄
I love how the soundtrack of Josh videos can jump from a sudden scary sound to an 80's japanese fusion jazz
Yes please keep investigating abandoned and haunted places! Variety is the spice of life 😊
That bunker was a bunker that you all were in. Also used for a storm shelter. Back in WW1-WW2 days many homes had bunkers and/or storm shelter or Storm Cellars. Thank you Josh love these abandoned houses and thank you for being very informative about them ❤
WOW, look at those old TV dinner boxes. I still eat TV dinners whenever I don't feel like cooking.
Another gorgeously shot video with your compelling and informational narration as you show us this time capsule. GREAT CONTENT lately, Josh! Happiest holidays!
Josh keep making more long badass hunted videos and vlogs videos and more horror game livestrems videos as well for Christmas
This is a good one. Yeah if you come across good abandoned places, videos of it is always good. I like the ghost ones too.
the bunker that Steve found is not a bunker after all it is a root cellar with a used to store potatoes and apples and vegetables and stuff to keep them for the winter thanks Josh for sharing your adventure It was awesome
i wisgh people could find out the remaining family members addresses and send the pictures to them.. it could make their lives feel so good...
Hi Josh, Merry Christmas to you! Can you please make more haunted content? Your ghost hunting and haunted content is excellent!
Those photo slides are the best I wish more explorer's would actually go through them all!
That was an awesome video josh. I hope you keep doing abandoned houses and paranormal videos 😊
I like abandoned more then haunted this was so amazing it’s sad to see all those photos get lost to time great video
Josh! I got a Kodak PixPro AZ401 camera for Christmas! I'm ready to urban decay and take pictures now!
I just can’t get over all the gorgeous furniture that’s left behind!
Merry Christmas brother Josh and family 🧡🧡🧡
I really felt the owners were excited to have their story told. Especially the TV dinner names😊. I love the vines growing in the home.
I think there is a chance that it was the man in the painting if you look at his eyes, the eyebrows and his hairline, but who knows. Great house. Happy New Year Josh.
I enjoy the abandoned vids and how excited you get when you explore. So have fun and do both!
Merry Christmas to you Steve n friends ❤ thank you for sharing your adventures I so enjoy them. 🎅💖
Lovely house, totally agree Josh, I miss the abandoned especially when there's lots of the people's belongings left behind. Love you to go back to France 🇫🇷 though. Angustura Aromatic bitters is a kind of special essence bartenders use to mix with cocktails. It suppose to be two or three drops not too much. It's important for the taste.
It's a old Sharp microwave.
Plz keep exploring old homes, seeing some of the things brought back memories for me, things I grew up with 😮
I missed the plain exploring videos all the places are so awesome, the ghost hunting are good as well just the abandoned ones have a nice vibe in the past
Josh, Merry Christmas and thanks for this nice video!
I love when you do either abandon or ghost. Both are intriguing.
Yes. This was super interesting to watch but this place has potential for really great paranormal evidence capture too hey.😊
Thank for the video Josh. Merry Christmas
Back in the 1960s we use to have TV dinners as after school snacks. As a family dinner was never served until 7 pm when dad came home from work.
Such treasures of time in this house. I love your work Josh! 👍🤘Thank you! Thank you! ❤💚❤🎄🎁❤💚❤🪢🍬
Great vlog wishing you a very merry Christmas josh and a happy healthy blessed new year
I found an old house. The old woman who lived there had taped pictures of cats all over her tv. That's what she watched.
wow josh a treasure indeed merry christmas bud .
If you want your mind blown.... Tucker Carlson is the heir of Swanson TV dinners.
any time i hear any mentions of "norwegian" in your videos, i get so excited!
