OMG! Everything you said was so true about solo cruising. I did my first two months ago and was so nervous because I am such an introvert. I will say that was one of my favorite cruise to date. I met friends along the way once I told people that I was traveling alone. They looked out for me when they would see me around. It was also great to have some alone time without having to go along with everything my family wanted to do. Thanks for the video. I have another solo cruise booked in November 😊😊
My only solo cruise was at age 15, going round trip trans-Atlantic on the SS Canberra sailing out of NYC, to see a total solar eclipse at sea in 1973. I shared a small cabin with 3 (former) strangers. My fare was $500 even, for 16 nights. I took $100 spending money including for 2 shore excurisions (Tenerife and Dakar) and tipping my waiter and room steward the recommended $15 each at the end of the cruise. It was life-changing being with 2000 fellow eclipse chasers, meeting many famous and extraordinary people, and having fun like you wouldn't believe. How I talked my parents into letting me go alone and spend my life savings on it, is a whole other story of good behavior, good luck, and amazing coincidences. Since then, I've "only" been on 4 more cruises. One for my honeymoon in 1979, three as family cruises arranged by my parents in the 1990s and 2000s. I'm sort of itching to get back to sea. Not sure how I'll react to the megaships now. I've only been on true ocean liners, with the Canberra having been by far the biggest.
I’m so glad to find your videos, content, voice & info shared. I absolutely love cruising. My cruises have always been with my kiddo’s. Since they’re all grown and schedules are tough to orchestrate together, I’m seriously considering booking a short solo cruise to start. As an introvert with a job that requires constant interaction with people, I would embrace that solo time. (Hopefully guilt free). 😊📖🏝️🍹🛳️🌅☀️🌊
That is the best feedback I could possibly hear, thank you. And you will cherish solo cruising. It’s an excellent way for us introverts to recharge (totally guilt free).
I couldn’t agree more with your video! I have been on several solo cruises, most on the Radiance. I’d like to try out the Panorama. 2 weeks until the Miracle! Your video is great!
The Radiance is great. The new features and extra space of the Panorama make it my choice between the two. Thanks for sharing your preference. What do you enjoy more about the Radiance?
@@SoloCruiseTravel 4 me it’s the size. 2 me the vista class is a tad 2 big. We’re going 2 try the Firenze in May. My fav was the Inspiration. 2 me it was just right.
I'm doing the Firenze as well this year! Just got off the sister ship The Venezia. My next video will be a full Solo Cruise Journal from that experience out of NYC! I really enjoy the Carnival Miracle's layout. Have you been on that one before? @@BarryDMoss

What is the male to female ratio & ages
In terms of what I saw on the ship in general? It seemed like slightly more females to males and the demo skewed from 30s-50’s by and large
