Wow I always wondered where the Hercules from the Contemporary ended up! Super cool. Hercules is such an interesting machine. A bad idea done purely for the spectacle of it, and what spectacle it is! It would be amazing to see these machines up and running again so people could get a chance to play them since they are getting more rare every day
Thanks for sharing your story! My family has enjoyed visiting Randyland and what you are doing is so much fun

So impressive to see 3 of those stacked together! The last time I saw one in the wild was at Arnold's in Oaks PA.

Fascinating, Randy!! 🤓. I've never had the opportunity to play a Hercules pinball but they look massive! Thanks for another awesome visit to Randyland. 😊

The one time I played a Hercules was at the Contemporary Resort Fiesta Fun Center! Amazing to see it again after all these years. Wow - that brought back memories. Just as you say, it was a slow machine and hard to play for long - at least for me when I was a kid and had to stretch my arms to the limit for the flipper buttons! I remember it was hard for me to see the playfield while I played.

I don’t know any other collectors that have 3 of these monster size pinball machines. I also played one at the carousel arcade in Seaside heights many years ago out of curiosity on how they played. Never put another coin in them after my first game. The thing about them is they are really cool looking and unusual for sure. Thanks for the Friday video…. Keep them coming!!

I’ve always wanted a pinball machine of my own, I always remembered the Hercules pinball from seaside when I was a kid… so I figured I’d search for one for sale. They’re basically unobtanium at this point. Only 280 were ever produced, the last one I saw pop up for sale sold for $10,000 plus tax plus buyers premium plus shipping 😮
Man do I wish you had one of these setup for play.

Wow! You could definitely make a few bucks off of these if you ever wanted to sell one or two. One sold awhile back for 20,000 bucks. Even In poor/non functioning shape I’d imagine the parts alone would be worth a good bit.

I got to try the Hercules pinball at Cedar Point. I don't think it was running at 100%... but it was a different experience than the Pinball machines I was used to. Modern pinball is more about bells/whistles and excitement... where older stuff was skill shot based.
