    I did the same for my kid. I used to pay 1 lakh fees for junior for an international school which was 4kms away. Sab tante the udhar. So I changed that school which is next to my residence which is an old school and more established than any new schools around, has better caring teachers and so less fees. I am doing SIP for him for his college fees to put him in better college. He is more happier than ever now. His society friends are his classmates. And he has more time at hand because he doesn't waste time in school bus and still has energy left. So now he has more time to utilize and he does in a better way. Me and my wife are more than happy as our WFH gets easily managed. Life is simple.

    As someone who went to a school like this I really resonate with your video, all the rich kids get treated better then middle class students in every aspect. Most middle class kids were neglected by the school officials and they didn’t see them of any value. These schools don’t offer much quality education just a way for you to go fancy places and take fancy photos.

  • @kattarshwetabhbhakt6785
    @kattarshwetabhbhakt6785 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +44

    I have noticed a simple pattern in terms of selection of school.
    1. If you are lower middle class and want your child to excel in STEM field, be clear with him from the very beginning that he has to be the bread winner for the family and has to only focus on STEM subjects like Math, Physics and Science. Don't give that much focus on all round development, if he can crack a good enough IIT/NIT/Good Gov Engg college that's enough.
    For that take a school near your house which will save his travelling and focus more on his time for tutions. Preferably choose State Board schools because they won't focus on other things.
    2. If you have a business and want your kids to take over it later, put your kid in CBSE, he will be a bit of everything. He will be connected to the ground reality of India as well as the corporate world. And also there is a scope of all round development, but not that it compromises on his technical studies.
    3. If you're upper middle class and wealthy enough, prepare up your kid for higher education in a foreign country. Focus very well on his English, another Foreign Language, okay enough on Maths and more on organizational work. Put him in a IB School/ICSE School and train him how would he find a job in a foreign country. Contact your relatives in that country, and also connect him with the particular communities in that country.
    Here he is not only for men, he here means any student irrespective of gender. Pardon me for omitting she here.

      @omanajz 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Lower class should put their kids in cbse school because the syllabus for competitive exams includes ncert books. CBSE schools teach directly from NCERT books while state govt books are derived from outdated NCERT books. Many state govt syllabi have unnecessary portions, state boards don't update the books regularly unlike NCERT. State boards and ICSEs are not helpful for competitive exams.

      Disagree absolutely.
      Lower middle class people should only focus on cracking good companies/getting into MBBS/cracking something big. Basic skills won't take them ahead. They don't have the edge over upper middle class and rich people.
      So it's better that they put good work ethics on him and make him excel in stem from the very beginning

    100% agree with you, and this is one topic that I figured out on my own before seeing your video. I think schools like K.V and APS are much better options. Save your money in Primary and Secondary Education and then utilise that saved amount in College Degree. In today's world any good college does not just give you knowledge but it gives you 2 things - Thought Process and Networking and that's what a student should expect from his/her college.

    Should middle class send their children to inefficient and dysfunctional govt schools where there is no scope for learning at all ? There may be defects in private schools, but bitter truth is that, they've saved the Indian education system from total collapse. Sir, ask
    1. How much money does the government spend on improving govt schools ?
    2. Is the expenditure on govt schools equal to the expenditure on MPs, MLAs, sarkari babus ?
    3. Inspite of collecting education "cess", there is no single govt school which is equivalent to DPS,...and such schools. Where does that tax money go ?
    4. How many teacher vacancies get completed on time without legal dispute just like IAS, or elections ?
    5. Why there are contractual teachers in govt education institutions ?
    We pay through the nose for private school, tuition fees not bcoz of our choice, but bcoz of lack of sustainable option.

    Dr Sir,
    I truly agree wit U here. Treatment fr Rich is way beyond measures as compared to Middle Middle Class. In real world only d Rich r favored n r given high preference in all they do whether they r capable or not. Still Middle Middke Class suffers n strive hard 2 cum up. It's really no joke n a lot of effort is put into 2 achieve success. They treat Middle Class differently n d full fly including d child suffers to attain their goals n reach d top.
    Wat a Bad privilege one faces in life. The rich will move only wit d Rich Class n the Middle Class gets neglected in all their life.
    Wat a TRUE Story!!!!
    I ♥️tily reciprocate d same in all I say.
    Best Rgds♥️🙏

    Sir although I agree to this view but to be honest, since I was put in a good school, my perspective is better than my parents.... May deep.down my parents knew that.... I am not saying put your childr in ultra rich school....which are above your means but a decent school which are at par would do.
    My mother is a state govt. School teacher, we all know how pathetic the conditions of those schools are.
    Though at my level, I would definitely put my kids in KV,DAV etc and put more efforts in home schooling which my parents could not have afforded well.

    Bulls eye analysis Sir. The main issue is that middle class parents are treating school education like computer coding i.e. if you give a certain input then you will get a certain output. Middle class parents are thinking that if they put their children in a certain type of school or a particular board then the children will definitely become something spectacular or whatever the parents are imagining. Unfortunately very few parents take the trouble to understand their children. I feel that the parents' focus should be on raising a mentally and emotionally healthy child. Such children will then definitely do well in life on their own terms.

    better to choose a school close to home and much within budget, finally what the kids do or achieve later in life is their own destiny, parents should stop making themselves responsible for their kids future and worry too much,
    am not a parent, but this is what i feel to do in future, if have my own biological or adopted kids ever,

    Another thing I have seen in Indian parents is this,
    A kid whose parents are less earning but wearing good clothes is making fun of another kid based on clothing, another kid parents are actually rich or I should say newly rich. They are now living in a rich society now but their old habits of being poor are still with them.
    Point is, both kid's parents are rich because one of the kid's parents run a clothes showroom and they give money, clothes, restaurants food to their kid as well. Whereas the anothe kid's parents started from poor families and have now become rich due to their grade B govt job, these newly rich parents refused to give their children good clothes, pocket money, and other perks like outside food. The excuse given is, you should learn how poor people live. Which is good till a limit.
    In the end, that newly rich parent's kid is forced to live among and see other rich kids in his society who are enjoying money, new clothes, restaurants, travelling etc, while he has to learn how poor people lives, so he can't do all this.
    One kid is spending 1000 rs like a flick and other one is walking 4 Kms to save 10 rs, meanwhile both kids are rich

      If the old rich want the new rich to behave like them, then the problem is with themselves (the old rich) only. Why expect others to dress like them, behave like them if the new rich are not employed directly under them?
      Also, the point with cars is they can go anywhere. They can bunk classes and go to clubs instead. That doesn't mean you should force them to walk. Solution is somewhere in the middle. You can give cycle for commute. You can give pocket money, but you have to monitor their expenses through UPI

    • @GarudAtma
      @GarudAtma 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can already see the future of kids who rarely have money in their hands.
      These kids can only do these Drawing classes, Football classes, and skills development in their dreams as their parents will not give them a penny for these. Because according to them only studies are important enough to spend money nothing else.
      About clothes, the sides of cuffs and collars are tethered, the color has now faded, small tiny holes in the t-shirt, and the holes for buttons have stretched. Only get 4 pairs or less in a year, etc.
      After 18 parents say, we have done enough, and go and make your life on your own.
      Maybe they will give them a scooter or PC but that's it.
      Expect no money other than college fees.
      About banking and stuff, it is a self-learning process, parents don't give a damn.
      Either that money will be spent on another useless big house or on the medical expenses of the parents.
      Kids like these then develop a habit of a minimalistic lifestyle or thrift spenders, usually don't marry, etc.
      I remember one of my friends, who never got 10 rs even for lunch, Now he eats at least one time a day from swiggy/zomato means 30k/month spending just on outside food, and he refuses to listen to the parents about it. He says, Nor you have eaten yourself and nor let me eat anything good, now my money my choice
