I am pleased to report that the filtration system has met my expectations. The water quality has significantly improved, and the installation process was straightforward.
When you first set up the system, you are supposed to basically purge the system 4 times before you use it. After you have purged the system, there are a few things to know...
I installed the Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration System, and it's been a nice change. Pure, clean water is always nice to have!! It's got a fast heating system, adjustable temperature, and reduces all those nasty chemicals.
The filter works well and I have had minimal issues with it. Costumer service has been responsive and helpful when I have reached out with questions! I enjoy the hot water setting, it’s very convenient and give boiling temperature water.
Be aware that during the 30 second back flushing, a few drops of water may drip in the front where the carafe would sit and there may be a very small amount of water on the back ledge where the tank sits when it is removed for filling.
The water looks and tastes good and clean but i have not been able to test it as i couldnt find my test strips but i will test it when i can and will update my review if needed. I recommend this product.😊
The setup took a while, so it seemed, because you have to run 4 full tanks of water all the way through it, and then run some hot water, but once it's ready it does a great job of putting out metered amounts of deliciously purified water

The water tastes great, I do not mind dumping the brine water that others complain about. I guess you need to understand that in order for this filter to last it needs to regurgitate the minerals so the filter doesn't quickly clog.
I just received this water filter today and I have to say I love it! The set up is fast and easy, I also bought an extra filter to add minerals back to my water.
You just need to be adding water every time the jar is close to empty or empty. From empty it will fill up itself to the top, otherwise you have to pay attention and stop it before it overflows . Great buy

This means you can't simply top up the tank; instead, you have to remove it entirely. Additionally, the way the tank slides into the back is not very secure. You have to use both hands to line it up carefully, while tryingnot to spill the water.
This is an extra work you need to put in compared to "under the sink" system for example, but for the quality of water and the price point, this is worth the try if your water consumption level is not too high.
I’ve been using ICEPure for over a year now and the experience has been great! I use it everyday and very easy to use/maintain. It has a nice and simple look and fits perfectly on the countertop.
The machine delivers fresh tasting water. How well it works is also very noticeable when sniffing the discharged water in the tank which smells like a lot of chlorine is in there, in other words the machine filtered all the chlorine out of our tap water and concentrated it in the discharge water. Great.
I also appreciate the ability to specify the amount to dispense AND the ability to specify different temps! Nice for making a cuppa’ tea in the evening without heating the kettle.

If you are getting it to put under a kitchen cabinet (see photo), I'd recommend getting an appliance rolling tray because it's difficult to change out the tank in the back each day without sliding the whole unit out from under the cabinet

Today a cat got on the counter and touched a control on the top. I don't see how to turn it off so unp!ugged it. I would suggest that if you have curious little hands or paws that you unp!ug.
For those saying that this machine produces WAY more waste water than expected, IT'S NOT TRUE! (We were using it wrong!!) I, too, installed, flushed and ran a cycle and was dumbfounded that the carafe was full and there was still nearly 2/3 of the tap water remaining in the tap water tank. The math didn't line up.
The directions say to run it pretty much every day so if you are away for several days at a time or travel a great deal, note that you will need to remove the filter and place it in the fridge.
The holding tank has lines for max fill and dotted line below which you are not recommended to reuse the water as it is waste water and needs to discarded.
The town I live in has a municipal well for a water supply. It's got a lot, and I mean a LOT, of minerals in it. We have a filter in the incoming line, and that takes care of a lot of the visible minerals, but the taste is still bad

The tank does get heavy, so having to maneuver the tank in a tight area will be difficult for draining and filling. The tank is also tall, so filling it in a sink will need to have a deep sink or tall faucet to get it filled

I did some research and found that RO units are the best at purifying your water. The downside is that when it removes minerals it doesn't distinguish between good and bad minerals, they all go. I love my countertop unit, it's convenient, runs well, and gives me pure-tasting water.

I use this filter water, then boil it. Let it cool, then add this filtered and boiled water (Make sure you have cooled the water to room temperature) to the Stokk filter machine. I am now drinking doubled filtered boiled water! Extremely fresh.

It's pretty easy to get hot water for a cup of tea or room temperature water in a water bottle. The reservoir is large so you aren't constantly refilling the tank
Previously I had a brita water filter. Water tasted clean, but reading up on the effectiveness of "filter" water systems, it only removed a handful of harmful things.
I do wish that this information had been made more clear in the manual. It seems that it should be prominent in there somewhere, but it is not. Oh well! I'm very very happy.
I love this although I wish I didn’t have to fill it up every day, but the water is really tasty, and the apparatus works great. I love the magnetic drip tray.
Now I am drinking many times over than before. My life just got a major upgrade! I have tried all the major pitcher filter units with no luck not to mention the cost of their filters needed changing every month or so.
My other concern would be the availability of the filters, because this is not a huge name Brand and it uses special filters they might be a bit cumbersome in price and hard to come by.

After much research, I purchased this water filtering system and couldn’t be more pleased. It’s easy to set up, quiet, fits right on my countertop without taking up much room, and produces the most crystal clear, refreshing water. I find myself constantly reaching for a glass to fill with this safe, healthy water
there is no automatic stop feature even when the jug is full. For instance, the jug was about one-quarter full when the machine indicated that the water in the reserve tank needed changing, even though it was still one-third full.

I tested the other under sink filters with a digital water tester and saw no positive results with or without the filters. It was basically the same as tap water
My electric bill has been lower since using this product. I have it sitting on a 9-inch swivel disc that makes it very easy to rotate when removing tank to refill. I must also mention that it is of excellent quality and very sturdy.
Water everywhere when changing the tank--don't believe the videos! The water tank design is poor: it has a handle but water can slosh out of the handle slots and the weird top is ill fitting and easily misaligned, also water seeps out of the bottom connections when filling the tank and finally it needs to be slid up about 1 inch to remove and slid down to replace, so a tight 16 inches means I have to move it out to change the tank and then move it back.

My favorite thing is how using this purified water improves the flavor of coffee. Using the RO water in my coffee maker has made a surprisingly large improvement in the overall flavor of the brewed coffee.

I am very pleased with it. I have just gotten the indicator lights to change filters. Water tastes good so I have stopped using bottles of water. The only thing that I wish was different would be that it would hold more water.
It appears that the filtered materials get reintroduced into the water tank, so when the back tank is about one-third full, you need to empty it before adding more water

With hard water, the scale build-up in a counter-top electric jug and in a counter-top (Zojirushi) heater necessitated periodic de-scaling treatments. Now, with RO-treated water, scale has been eliminated. With UV purification treatment of the water, potential pathogens are not a concern in treating water for drinking.

On each of the initial purgings I took a TDS test and the first water draw and was really surprised at how effective the unit is. Test results along with tap and my local big box store.
Overall, while the water quality is good, the cumbersome design and lack of smart sensor feature make this water filter not so great to use effectively.
Let me begin by saying we make our own drinking water. The water here is so filthy and the local industries have dumped so many chemicals into the area that we just don’t trust the water. We have a multi-stage purification process (5 steps to be exact) and this R/O machine is our final step and right decision happy with the purchase 😊
My kids won't even drink the water because of the taste. This machine does the trick! While it is a bit confusing to figure out at first, once you know how to use it, it is well worth the price

The speed of filling the carafe is pretty good and the machine easily provides all our drinking water for 2 people plus one dog.
This means you can't simply top up the tank; instead, you have to remove it entirely. Additionally, the way the tank slides into the back is not very secure. You have to use both hands to line it up carefully, while tryingnot to spill the water.

How well it works is also very noticeable when sniffing the discharged water in the tank which smells like a lot of chlorine is in there, in other words the machine filtered all the chlorine out of our tap water and concentrated it in the discharge water. For those saying that this machine produces WAY more waste water than expected, IT'S NOT TRUE! (We were using it wrong!!) I, too, installed, flushed and ran a cycle and was dumbfounded that the carafe was full and there was still nearly 2/3 of the tap water remaining in the tap water tank. The math didn't line up.

The town I live in has a municipal well for a water supply. It's got a lot, and I mean a LOT, of minerals in it. We have a filter in the incoming line, and that takes care of a lot of the visible minerals, but the taste is still bad

The tank does get heavy, so having to maneuver the tank in a tight area will be difficult for draining and filling. The tank is also tall, so filling it in a sink will need to have a deep sink or tall faucet to get it filled

I use this filter water, then boil it. Let it cool, then add this filtered and boiled water (Make sure you have cooled the water to room temperature) to the Stokk filter machine. I am now drinking doubled filtered boiled water! Extremely fresh.

there is no automatic stop feature even when the jug is full. For instance, the jug was about one-quarter full when the machine indicated that the water in the reserve tank needed changing, even though it was still one-third full.

Yeah this machine is really cool
My electric bill has been lower since using this product. I have it sitting on a 9-inch swivel disc that makes it very easy to rotate when removing tank to refill. I must also mention that it is of excellent quality and very sturdy.

My girlfriend and I started using this product during the Memorial Day weekend. It came well packed and was easy to set up and get started.
Water everywhere when changing the tank--don't believe the videos! The water tank design is poor: it has a handle but water can slosh out of the handle slots and the weird top is ill fitting and easily misaligned, also water seeps out of the bottom connections when filling the tank and finally it needs to be slid up about 1 inch to remove and slid down to replace, so a tight 16 inches means I have to move it out to change the tank and then move it back.
The six-stage filtration system really makes a difference in water quality. I highly recommend it

I have used this filter for over a long time and it’s been great. I give 4 stars because it was a bit confusing to learn and I also don’t use all the features including the milk/coffee feature
My favorite thing is how using this purified water improves the flavor of coffee. Using the RO water in my coffee maker has made a surprisingly large improvement in the overall flavor of the brewed coffee.
The only thing to consider is counter space as this product is super big and does take up quite a bit of space. Overall, I love this product and would highly recommend it!
I am very pleased with it. I have just gotten the indicator lights to change filters. Water tastes good so I have stopped using bottles of water. The only thing that I wish was different would be that it would hold more water.

It does a very good job with my municipal water (which is super hard and tastes like chemicals); the water tastes better than any bottled water I’ve had. Now I can feel better about drinking tap water!
The filter lifespan is 12 months, which is double almost every other machine I viewed. The tank holds a good amount of water, it fills the carafe 2 times before needing a refill
I’m impressed at how easy it is to operate and maintain. The set-up is easy, but the flushing process to prepare it for use takes some time, but the filtered water it makes is well worth it
With hard water, the scale build-up in a counter-top electric jug and in a counter-top (Zojirushi) heater necessitated periodic de-scaling treatments. Now, with RO-treated water, scale has been eliminated. With UV purification treatment of the water, potential pathogens are not a concern in treating water for drinking.

Overall, this is very nice filter unit for anyone needing good RO filtered water, but cannot use a standard RO system.
On each of the initial purgings I took a TDS test and the first water draw and was really surprised at how effective the unit is.
Test results along with tap and my local big box store.
The unit is large but can be placed anywhere there is a power outlet. The water tastes great and only takes a few seconds to get the right amount.
It really does clean up tap water. It’s very easy to use and I haven’t had any problems with it at all.
Overall, while the water quality is good, the cumbersome design and lack of smart sensor feature make this water filter not so great to use effectively.

Let me begin by saying we make our own drinking water. The water here is so filthy and the local industries have dumped so many chemicals into the area that we just don’t trust the water. We have a multi-stage purification process (5 steps to be exact) and this R/O machine is our final step and right decision happy with the purchase 😊
