    Success is not built on success. It's built on failure, It's built on fraustration. it's built on fear that you have to overcome. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

    EV like Porsche Taycan, Kia EV6, and Ioniq 5 can benefit from lower charging cost on Shell Recharge as they can benefit from full 180kW on 800V architecture. When charging speed drop below certain speed, unplug and leave. You get more kWh per RM you paid as compared to those priced by kWh

    Come to Australia. We will show you long distance. As for Malaysia, find a diesel tow truck for extended range.

    If the car is full of passengers, does the batt run out quicker?

    • @alexwnl
      @alexwnl 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      In theory, more passengers add weight and that means more effort to move the car. Then again, most EVs are already heavy to begin with as most models are about 2 tonnes. It also depends on your driving style. Maintaining speed with fewer sudden acceleration and deceleration would improve your efficiency significantly.

    If ev car rosak, does the manufacturer give free towing to the service centre 24/7 all over malaysia?

      Most, if not all car insurance now offers free towing.

    How much does it cost to recharge a BYD Atto from 0-100%?

    • @soyacincautv
      @soyacincautv  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For the BYD Atto 3 Extended Range with a 60.5kWh battery, you could be looking at about RM35 for a full charge from zero if you're charging at home. This is based on the highest TNB domestic tariff of RM0.57 per kWh.

    Imagine getting stuck in a 9 hr slow moving traffic jam at mid-day from KL to Penang during festive season, full load of pax and luggage. Driving an EV😢.
    I would take an ICE car anytime.

    Perhaps you need to be more specific ... For West Malaysia, it's possible BUT NOT with East Malaysia (at least for now).

    • @alexwnl
      @alexwnl 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Still possible in East Malaysia at least from Kuching to Kota Kinabalu with an EV that can do over 400km on a single charge. Kuching to Sibu and Sibu to Miri is possible on a single charge. Miri to Kota Kinabalu is also possible with a DC charging stop in Bandar Seri Begawan.

    • @henrylee7515
      @henrylee7515 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@alexwnl Anyone you know has tried it ? From Kuching to Sibu is ~400km. Of course, a lot of EVs' WLTP >400km but given the road conditions etc.. I don't think you can make it ... even if you try hard, it's going to be risky. For example I'm driving ix3, with 100% SOC, getting to 420km is already good. It's possible to start from KK however. Someone has tried to drive from KK to Miri with stop over & charged in Brunei. From Miri to Sibu also possible as you can charge in Bintulu. Of course some bigger batt cars likely to make it if you have over 500k range.

    For EVs, it is definitely not environmentally friendly. The mining process of the ingredients (lithium, manganese, cobalt, graphite, steel, and nickel) use make the EV is more harmful to the environment.

    • @alexwnl
      @alexwnl 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      It is harmful if it goes to waste. EV batteries can be reused as energy storage units and are highly recyclable to make new batteries.
