VINTAGE SEWING MACHINES FOR SALE, vintagesewingm...
The Heinrich Grossmann zigzag chainstitch hat machine was something special. Here I demonstrate the beauty in action. Enjoy, and check out Sewalot.com for more information.
Sweet little genius machine XOXO Thanks so much Alex for sharing, had no idea this machine existed. You ARE the best!
That’s what I would love for Christmas. 🥰
That has got to be the coolest chainstitcher I've ever seen--now I want one!
Amazing, I would never have imagined such a thing existed!
Fantastic machine. I have a straw hat machine and 3 days ago received a modified W&G machine that has been adapted to (I believe) cut the excess straw from the brim after the edge has been folded under and sewn down (for pressed hats) a wonderful video. Thank you
Beautiful Machine
I enjoy your videos and knowledge so much. Thank you for sharing
Perfect timing on the release of this video. I’ve just bought one of these and it’s in need of a full restoration. I was completely locked up having been left neglected for what seems like decades.
It’s just missing the guide…
Highly unlikely, but can parts be sourced for these?
I just keep searching the Internet until what I need turns up. Sometimes I can wait ages but they usually do in the end.
Amazing machine! Thanks for sharing.
Love your videos. Being from the very humid south Florida climate it shocks me to see your priceless heirloom sewing machines kept outdoors! How to you keep them from rusting?
I took it back in as soon as I finished filming:) Never leave a sewing machine outside.
So glad to hear that!!!
Cool
I see the needle moving left and right. Does the looper slide left and right with each stitch?
Yes, you cannot see it but the hook/looper follows the needle perfectly.
Hi Alex. Do you have a Wiring machine for sale? If so please contact me ASAP.
