Hi, I would like to upgrade to 215/75/R15 AT from the stock tires. Would this cause any difference in the overall performance of the vehicle. Also I wanted to know that this being a new vehicle, would the wheel alignment post tire replacement be a difficult job ? I just don’t want to have any unnecessary problems on a new vehicle. Any help or suggestion is appreciated.
Hi Ayan. That’s a safe upsize. The difference in circumference is ~1.5% which is acceptable. Owing to the wider tyres, you might find the steering to be a tad heavier than stock. The added grip from the wider contact patch is always welcome both on and off road. Wheel alignment shouldn’t really be an issue. Take a test drive post the tyre swap to check if the vehicle is pulling to either side. Congratulations on the car. Hope this helps!

My suggestion - test drive the jimny as well. Jimny is not like a general comfort oriented family car. If you are looking for long journeys, go for sonet. If you want a bit of fun with off-road and not for long journeys, you can try jimny
