I did ansbachs whole thing for Halloween it went VERY aswell and can confirm as the IRL ansbach it is light and cozy someone wearing a hunter cosplay from blood borne recognized me so that was cool
Yeah at 40€ the DLC you'd think they could give flashy effects to the armor sets. Plus it's not like the weapons of the DLC already turned the game into an anime...
Asthetic warrior helm dose work with the Sanguin noble robes. Fits thematically as it implies that you are a omen and or have begun growing horns after you got the second hand blood infusion from Varre. Also the gold is really fitting.
Th Dryleaf set is so good because of how the cloths move, it has really nice physics that FEEL like a big piece of leather. Also the satchel makes it feel fitting for any build that uses consumables or perfumes, it just gives off the right vibe
I really love Hornsent's set, honestly! I've always liked the grungier looking sets, and I think it's really perfect if you want something with a similar vibe to a Dark Souls-style pyromancer. It also has the highest focus stat of any set, which is nice during the Midra fight! Also, you don't have to attack the forager brood to get the Verdigris set. Moore will also drop it after the Leda and Allies fight if he's alive by that point, and I believe he drops it if you tell him to "stay sad forever" and then reload the area once Miquella's rune breaks, although I've never done that myself so I'm not 100% certain.
You dont have to summon Ansbach and Thiollier in the final fight to get their armor sets. You simply just have to advance their questlines to the point where you can summon them both in the fight against Leda. If you summon them in the final boss, youre gonna have a very bad time as the health increase is not worth it, and both of them still die pretty easily.
Glad to see you recognize Gaius's armor and the shadow milita hood; i had one or the other (sometimes both!) equipped at all times once i got em. You went above and beyond wirh some of the edits as well, gj
Note on Ansby and Thiolly, You do not need to summon them for the FINAL boss but you do for the second to last boss fight to get their sets, if their summon signs are outside the final boss you will get their gear after winning.
You know, if wearing one piece of the Dryleaf set boosted all Damage Negation when using Hand-to-Hand weapons, and increased attack by a certsin percentage when using Hand-to-Hand weapons based on your hand and leg armor, I'd use some of it.
You don’t have to summon Ansbach or Thiollier for their sets. Common misconception, just do their questline, kill dlc final boss, and their bodies/drops will be in the boss room. You also get Moore’s set from his questline. Killing the brood locks you out of the 7th cookbook from Moore. After getting all 6 from throughout the Land of Shadow, return to him and he’ll give you the 7th cookbook. From there, tell him to be sad forever and he’ll be dead with his drops by the brood at the church you said to kill. The way to get the cookbook from that brood is to use a warming stone to heal it.
I love the divine warrior set. Got both pieces dropped from the same enemy, goes well with the other horned/bird warrior pieces. The divine warrior helmet goes especially hard with the blackflame monks armor
Note: you have to only do ansbach's quest to get his set and beat the final dlc boss. Summoning him for it is not required. just rest at the grace after beating radahn and his body will appear. same with thiolier's
A way easier way to get moore's set is talk to him then go to the area after bonny village where you see "a great rune has broken... and so did a powrrful charm", go back to moore, tell him to be sad forever, go to the burnt castle in scadu altas and he will be laying on a pest dead. Then just pick it up. Btw this has the added benefit of taking him out of the leda and friends fight.
You only have to summon ansbach for the leda fight, not for consort When you need to summon to complete a quest the sign will be in the arena like its with hornsent who you can btw also summon real quick after killing Messmer For everyone who doesnt like to summon
At first I was very disapponted in the DLC armor sets after I saw the gameplay trailer where they showed Hornsent, Thiollier, Freyja and Moore and non of their sets looked any good (Freyja's is good without the helm). But in the end we got many great sets, Oathseeker is probably my favorite followed by Death Knight and Fire Knight and we also got great sets for female characters with Dancer's, Deathbird and Rellana's. The base game always felt lacking to me with the female sets because I wasn't a fan of the barefoot ones which were most of them.
The divine beast helm buffs storm stuff.... Ok ik it will not be great but now I just want to minmax storm stomp and see if it actually can get ok damage outside of confirming followup attacks in pvp. You can buff it with the divine beast bird legs, divine beast helm, rakshasa chest and arms, divine beast talisman, crushed stone talisman, shard of Alexander, free choice for the last talisman. If the stomp stuff works on the aow of the vets prosthesis then that may actually be viable juicing also.
The Divine Beast set has gloves and leggings, its just the gloves and leggins for the Horned Warrior set
I did ansbachs whole thing for Halloween it went VERY aswell and can confirm as the IRL ansbach it is light and cozy someone wearing a hunter cosplay from blood borne recognized me so that was cool
Did you custom make it or order a premade set?
As much as i love the Ansbach armor, i cant bring myself to wear it. I could never hold a candle to the man, the myth, the righteous Sir Ansbach
Do not fret. Vanity is above all else, use it.
Bullgoat set: I am the ugliest armor set in the game!
Gaius set: Hold my pants!
No. Dungeater armor is ugliest. Bullgoat at least appeals to a certain group of people in terms of fashion. Nobody likes dungeater armor.
@@gavindooly2375 errrrrm, I certainly do🤓🤓
@vex4eggs Filthy dung eater confirmed.
still wish the death night had the cape i was so disappointed when it didnt

It does indeed drop when you tell him to be sad forever (I accidentally did this, I didn’t want him to be sad forever :( )
Monk you are severely underrated

Altered Messmer's helmet + Drake knight armor + long hair looks fantastic imo
St. Trina's Blossom is one piece than never leaves my character. Unless I feel the need to coordinate whatever else I'm wearing, that is.

The first time I played Ds 1 and killed a black knight, I got their great sword. Needles to say, a buddy of mine was pretty mad, lol.
Lmao love how you didn't mention the foul stench that clings to the Black Knight set

I really wish we could’ve gotten the spectral cape the death knight bosses have.
17:09 "some sort of evil jester"
Fighter PL : Honestly, well said, I would have described myself the same ! 😆👍
17:11 the helm reminds me of javas from Star Wars with the eyes

You still need to test the shields the sorcerys and incantations as well as the ashes of war
I didn't realize the dress buffed the drill sword. Combining that with all the successive-attack buffs sounds like it could be nasty.
I already know all this information, but I’m watching anyways
The Dryleaf set reminds me of gascoin’s set from bloodborne
14:48 which is also again stolen deaign. It's not "berserk inspiration" if you straight up steal
HES BACK YEEEEES
Is it just me or does the Fire knight set look like the Crimson set from ds1 because of the red and the mask?
The divine beast helm buffs storm stuff....

put on ritual sword
Solitude set could have benefited from a codpiece. Same for both Crucible Knight sets in the base game.
I still feel like we should have gotten the flame spit.Helmet and michela's dress
I like the solitude set a lot but the small helmet throws me off of it. I switch it out every time because I want something cooler
Does the death knight armor boost bolt of gransax aow?
12:15 the man’s name is pronounced egon he even says it in the game please stop pronouncing it that way it hurts my soul
they hate me cuz they aint me... and because I mock their fashion choices
This d l c released a lot of armsets involving dudes , just wearing underwear. Rather odd indeed
