It's all development of the young players, making Coby and PWill go to scorers on the team and staying one through ten in the draft lottery next year. Bulls will have a decent young team that can't play any worse team defense than Zach, Vooch and Demar did together.
This is the Lakers young core of talent in 2017 before Lebron came.

- Lonzo Ball - 19

Don't put a lot into a rebuild for the future as everyone of these players were traded, which proves had the Lakers drafted Tatum, he would been traded too. Young teams don't win championships. But what you do is hope some can show off to add depth in veterans and have players to trade for them. If a Giannis come up, just like AD came up, all young players are on the table. That's how it works.
Wiseman is not what we need. We need to sign Jalen Smith (Pacers).
He’s a much better 5 than Wisemen. He can shoot better (40%+) from long range and he can defend better.

Wiseman had value, & can still regain that value in the right situation, because injures have not ruined his NBA career quite yet.

If Defense is key, why was Caruso traded to OKC? Caruso averaged like 3 steals per game.
Can yall proceede to get over him? What's his purpose for a rebuilding roster? He's a FA next summer that they weren't signing, doesn't stay healthy, and is aging. They had several logical reasons to rid of em.

Because Caruso is 30, injury prone, and will be FA next season. He could asking 80 millions for the 4 yr contract. And that contract would be overprice once he turns 32 or 33

He's only 22. Give him time. But even then I don't think he will be an all star. But a very good player by 25..

Just listened to the 1st 6 minutes & no mention of Matas Buzelis. Matas will be big part of the Bull's future! Yes, Zach Lavine-- send him to the Knicks or Lakers. James Wiseman isn't the best. James Wiseman gets lost in the shuffle. Hey, keep Drummond and bring Kai Soto to be a stretch 5.
The Bulls are already past attaching a FRP to jettison LaVine… nobody was even interested in that. There are really only a few teams realistically and financially available for LaVine’s contract (and 15% additional trade kicker). I do not see this as a contract that can be up traded at the trade deadline because of the enormous salary number. It pretty much needs to be to be a summer trade. It appears it likely now will take even more outgoing value (another young or mid good player and at least 2SRPs or more than the sole FRP). Things like this happen. The Warriors had to do it last Summer for a much less costly contract in Poole. Also, the cost of 1 FRP for Iggy when Iggy was good in appx 2019. Rip off the band aide, time to go all young. It’s the right way to go.

Here is the problem with ZL he is a one dimensional player who does not make anyone on his team better, second his contract is almost untradable think he is owed $50M in the last year. Finally he is showing a history of injury and this is a guy who bitched to his coach after going 1-14 about sitting in the 4th during a blowout. We are stuck with ZL. Don’t know about DD my guess is the Lakers if they can’t sign Thompson from GS.

The problem as a Bulls fan is like what u said. If they had that young lineup with pat at 4th. That is not an exciting team. We will suck and Coby will crazy every game and that's it. If they have to attach 2 1st with Zach to get his salary off the books you do it.. AKME made the mistake of signing and keeping him when they should have signed and traded him.. He is the losingest player in the league for a reason, that reason is he think he is a #1 or a #2 and he is actually a #3.. AKME got suckered into paying a #3 the money you reserve for a true #1.. They made the mistake (I told them not to) they gotta pay to get over it..
