That was a bit of an eye opener for me when Nick (talking about going back to the same locations) that he won’t be able to outdo what he has already done. Its a good point by Nick. I mean you go to Yosemite at the same time same spot and take an amazing photo, can you outdo that photo? I realize you can try different locations there and different seasons but I guess in the end we as photographers need to explore more, hike more and find more areas to get that amazing shot. It’s great to get that shot at some of our amazing national parks but if I can I love to get off the beaten and well worn track and find a place or composition where people say to me, wow that is amazing, where is that? Back to Nick, I thank you.
The look on Andrew's face at 30secs is priceless, "What have I gotten myself into". And the sandals/flip flops look brand new, how could Mike complain, I expect the old ones escaped one night into the forest. They've gone feral Gavin, were you trying to channel H.R.Grumpiness? Both times, I have instantly busted out laughing because he's soooooo serious! 😂 It's probably not the reaction he would want for his ads, but I cannot help but think about your videos with him.

I have really enjoyed your Vancouver vlogs but living in Melbourne, NZ is a bit more accessible. Well done, your photography is spot on. But can I make a suggestion. When I hear any photographer mention the light is not good, “too Sunny” you should look at getting a full spectrum camera (with your choice of IR filters)...They are brilliant with sunny or even some cloudy days along with some night sky photography. I have one and it definitely changed my outlook on what the weather can direct me to..... ( just another tool in your bag.) Thanks again and stay safe!
Lots of fun boys. I'm not one that can stay up all night looking at the milky way but I do love a Deschutes IPA every now and again. Cheap and delicious IPA is one of Oregon's best exports. I'm in Thailand now and a Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA will set you back about $6.50 USD. I loved the sky photos (and I'll watch Michael's version in a moment) but man, I can't stay up that late anymore. More power to you!

Serious question (if that’s possible). I take aircraft trails out of each photo before sending to Starstax, is that what y’all do or wait till finished?
I will give you a start trail tutorial right here. 1 roll or sheet of Provia 100, point at the Southern/Northern star. Put the camera on bulb once it’s dark, close the shutter before sunrise.

It's less work to take them out before as you do Ken.
